Tiger Woods was back at Carnoustie for Round 2 of the British Open on Friday as he looked to build off the even-par 71 he posted during Thursday's first round. Woods posted another even-par 71 on Friday after a mostly consistent second round.
Woods had a rough start to the day with two bogeys in his first two holes, but recovered nicely with consecutive birdies on four and five. In total, Woods had three bogeys and three birdies on the day. The rest were pars, resulting in the even score.
At the end of his round Friday, Woods sat in a tie for 27th with a two-round total of 142, six strokes behind leader Zach Johnson. The most important part, though, was that Tiger made the cut and will be playing at Carnoustie through the weekend. He will begin his third round at 8:15 a.m. ET (1:15 p.m. BST).

Another even round for Tiger as he just misses out on a birdie at18. That's two consecutive even-par rounds to start, and he's currently tied for 29th. He's six strokes behind current leader Zach Johnson, who shot a 69 on Thursday and a 67 on Friday.
Tiger barely misses on an eagle on the 14th hole, so he'll have to settle for a birdie.
