Tiger Woods at the Masters today: Tee time, TV coverage, live streams to watch 2023 rounds image

Tiger Woods returned to the grounds of Augusta National, but his stay didn't go as planned.

The legendary golfer made his second straight appearance in the tournament since his 2021 life-threatening car crash. Last year at the Masters, Woods made the cut and wound up finishing 47th for the tournament.

After a brief scare during the weather-delayed conclusion of the second round, Woods made the cut for the 23rd consecutive time at Augusta. But he won't be able to see it out.

Following another weather delay that pushed the conclusion of the third round to Sunday morning, Woods announced he has withdrawn from the tournament due to a recurrence of plantar fasciitis.

Woods is still chasing Jack Nicklaus for the most major wins and most Masters victories. In 2019, Woods pulled off one of the most improbable wins of his career when he claimed his fifth green jacket. Nicklaus holds the Masters record with six wins.

In his 24 appearances at the Masters, Woods has made more than $9.6 million and has posted a scoring average of 71.5.
