Tiger Woods announced Friday that he will play in the next two PGA Tour events — the Valspar Championship and the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill.
After a good recovery week I’m committing to play in the @ValsparChamp and @APinv next two weeks.

Woods has made three PGA Tour starts this year, finishing 12th last week at the Honda Classic. The 14-time major champion has undergone four back surgeries since 2014, but this time he appears on track for a full recovery.

Many wondered which tournaments Woods would play leading up to the Masters, which takes place the first week of April. Woods, a four-time Masters champion, hasn't teed it up at Augusta National since 2015.
“If (Tiger) can play well in the run up to the Masters, I think it will be an amazingly compelling event this year," Golf Channel's David Feherty said in an exclusive interview with Omnisport. "If he can get into contention (at the Masters), and it wouldn’t surprise me at all if he does, I watched him a little last week, and he looks really good. He’s carrying himself a little taller. He’s walking differently. He looks like, and I’ve known him for 20 years, like something is stirring.”
Woods has won eight times at Bay Hill.
