CBS announcer Jim Nantz has spent nearly 40 years capturing the sights, sounds and eloquence of the Masters. And although he's stepping away from glitz and glamor of March Madness, he'll be at the mic once more for the famous golf competition.
Nantz spearheads CBS's Masters coverage, leading a formidable group of commentators, all of whom hope to spotlight the beauty and intrigue of the famous course. Perhaps there's even a new Nantz-ism in store.

With that, here's what you need to know about the broadcast team for this year's Masters.
Who is calling the Masters for CBS?
Leading CBS's broadcast for the Masters will be a familiar voice, one that you likely heard not too long ago.
Jim Nantz will serve as the competition's host, reprising the role he has held 35 times previously. Trevor Immelman, the 2008 Masters champion, will join Nantz in the 18th hole tower in his debut as the tournament's lead analyst.
This is the pinnacle for Nantz, who wrapped up a storied March Madness career with his call of Monday's national championship game. He's not the only broadcasting legend who will be appearing in CBS's coverage.
Accompanying Nantz and Immelman in the action is CBS Sports' golf team, which includes analyst and hole announcer Ian Baker-Finch and on-course reporter Dottie Pepper. Veteran announcer Verne Lundquist will offer occasional interviews, teaming up with Frank Nobilo, Andrew Catalon and Amanda Renner.
Suffice to say, the stars will be out come the tournament — both on- and off-the-course.
