For the second time in as many PGA Tour appearances, Corey Conners will play in the final pairing on Sunday.
This time around, the Listowel, Ont. native will be hoping for a better result.
Conners held a one-shot lead entering the final round of the Valspar Championship two weeks ago, but shot a 6-over 77 on Sunday to finish in a tie for 16th place. Two weeks later, Conners is in the final grouping at the Corales Puntacana Resort & Club Championship, but trails leader Brice Garnett by two strokes.

The 26-year-old Canadian played his way up the leaderboard on Saturday by shooting a 5-under 67, tying Americans Tyler McCumber and Harris English for the low score on the day.
Conners got off to a hot start on the front nine, making five birdies before making the turn. By far the most impressive of the bunch was a chip-in from the fringe on No. 9 that found its way onto the elevated green and into the middle of the cup.
What touch.
