After a lengthy weather delay, Brooke Henderson closed out a dominant performance at the New Zealand Women's Open to claim her second LPGA Tour victory of the season.
The 20-year-old Canadian claimed a five-stroke victory after having to contend with a delayed final round, with inclement weather postponing the end of the tournament to Monday morning in the Auckland area.
Henderson led by four shots after six holes before play was suspended Sunday, and she completed the round Monday at 17-under par. Jing Yan of China was the closest competitor atop the leaderboard, but her 12-under 276 was hardly a threat.

Even after pushing the remainder of the final round to Monday, the players still had to contend with challenging conditions. Henderson dealt with the strong winds aptly, shooting for birdies on three of the first five holes she played. Ultimately, Henderson's lead became insurmountable and she was able to capture her first victory since winning June's Meijer LPGA Classic.
Henderson has won five tournaments in her career so far.
