After leading for the majority of the first two rounds, Brooke Henderson couldn't navigate a win at the Pure Silk-Bahamas LPGA Classic on Sunday.
The 20-year-old Canadian shot a 1-under 72 in the final round to finish the first LPGA event of the season in ninth place at 6-under par.
Henderson started the day strong with back-to-back birdies on No. 2 and No. 3, and added another on No. 10 to join a five-way tie for the lead at 8-under.
This birdie putt on 10 puts Brooke Henderson in a tie for the lead with Thompson, Feng, Yang and Hsu @PureSilkLPGA.

Henderson couldn't maintain the momentum on her final six holes, making two birdies, two bogeys and a double bogey to end any chance of a sixth career LPGA win.
American Brittany Lincicome completed a remarkable comeback to win the tournament at 12-under par, repeating as champion. After shooting a 1-over par 74 on Thursday, she rebounded with a 6-under 67 on Saturday and a 7-under 66 on Sunday to top the field by two strokes.
