Newcomer Matthew Wolff knocked down a long putt for an eagle on the 18th hole to win the 3M Open for his first career PGA Tour victory.

The 20-year-old golfer, the 2019 NCAA champion, holed out the 26-foot putt to finish 6-under 65 in the final round Sunday, and 21 under for the tournament at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota.

He earned the win in only his third career Tour start.

Wolff needed the walk-off putt because Bryson DeChambeau, who entered the day in a three-way tie for the lead with Wolff and Collin Morikawa, had hit his own spectacular shot on 18 to score an eagle and finish the tournament at 20 under.

Morikawa matched DeChambeau's final-round score of 5-under 66 to finish tied for second.

Adam Hadwin shot 4-under 67 to finish fourth, three shots back while Carlos Ortiz (7-under 64) and Wyndham Clark (3-under 68) finished tied for fifth place, four shots behind Wolff.
