Former Georgia wideout Jeremiah Holloman has entered the NCAA transfer porter, according to 247Sports.
Holloman, who was dismissed from the team last week, apparently is trying to see if he can play elsewhere.
It's unclear if teams have expressed interest in Holloman.
The junior receiver was accused of aggravated assault and battery by an ex-girlfriend. The alleged incident occurred in April 2018, but it wasn't until early June of this year that the woman went to police to file a report.
Georgia coach Kirby Smart confirmed that Holloman had been dismissed from the team on Friday.
“Jeremiah Holloman no longer represents the University of Georgia football program," Smart said, via The Covington News. "We expect every member of our team to uphold the highest standards and values of the University of Georgia and Georgia football. It is disappointing when this does not happen.”
In two seasons with the Bulldogs, Holloman caught 25 passes for 425 yards and five touchdowns. He was expected to take over the top receiving spot, since Calvin Ridley and Mecole Hardman had moved on to the NFL and Terry Godwin played his fourth and final season with the team.
Georgia's leading returning wide receiver is now Tyler Simmons. The team also will rely on junior Demetris Robertson, graduate transfer Lawrence Cager, along with true freshmen Dominick Blaylock and George Pickens.
