Jack Doohan has been promoted to a full-time seat with Alpine for the 2025 Formula 1 season.
The 21-year-old Australian has been employed as the team's reserve driver for the past two years, with his promotion confirmed on Friday.
Doohan had previously spent two seasons in Formula 2, finishing sixth and third in the championship standings in 2022 and 2023, respectively.
He replaces Haas-bound driver Esteban Ocon and notably becomes the first Alpine Academy prospect to graduate into a race seat with the constructor.

Jack is the son of motorcycle racing legend Mick Doohan.
Mick enjoyed a successful career, winning five consecutive 500c World Championships and picking up a total of 54 victories.
