It's been another week of headline-grabbing for Red Bull in the Formula One world.
A few days after Max Verstappen claimed the British Grand Prix crown — his sixth successive race victory — the Austrian team announced that reserve driver and fan favourite Daniel Ricciardo would be loaned to junior team AlphaTauri to take Nyck De Vries' grid spot for the rest of the season.
The Australian veteran's task will be simple: to secure as many points-paying finishes as possible throughout the rest of the season as he looks to steal Sergio Perez's Red Bull seat in 2024. His comeback starts at the Hungarian Grand Prix this weekend — another race where Verstappen is the favourite.
This time around, though, the Dutch driver could find himself under more pressure than of late given that this race usually delivers plenty of surprises.
Esteban Ocon won here two years ago with Alpine, whilst Verstappen himself won at the Hungaroring in 2022 despite spinning his car towards the end of the race.
