Luis Norton de Matos has already mentioned about the change in personnel for the second Group A game against Colombia in the FIFA Under-17 World Cup.
After the 3-0 defeat to USMNT, Norton mentioned that while a few players put in a decent performance, there were some who could have done much better.
With Colombia being a physically superior outfit, it must be noted the Portuguese coach will obviously want taller players to start.
Interestingly, two of the three goals India conceded against USMNT were from set-pieces while the third came from a counter-attack.
When India played against Colombia in Mexico back in August this year, they suffered a 3-0 loss. What must be noted that of the three goals let in, two were from set-pieces.
Norton would have certainly taken note of this.
Namit Deshpande, who was rested for the first game owing to a knock picked up earlier in a camp, could be handed a start in central defence.
Jeakson Singh too was benched for the first game, is in contention for a place in the starting eleven. Meanwhile, Boris Singh, who was suspended for the opening match, is expected to take his place in the team.
