Week 13 Yahoo Fantasy Football: NFL DFS picks, lineup advice for cash games image

With most of our picks in the late games, you'll have to wait to see your reward, but they say the best things are worth waiting for. Our Week 13 NFL daily fantasy football Yahoo cash game picks will be exactly that, featuring a heavy dose of running backs, a QB/WR stack, and buying low on wide receivers who will hit it big for the second straight week.

Alvin Kamara and Jamaal Williams have been freight trains since they got a fair share of playing time, collecting over 100 total yards from scrimmage multiple times, and Keenan Allen is roasting favorable matchups lately. As usual, our tight end pick is normally decided between who's playing the Broncos, Giants or Redskins, and this week, our salary relief comes against the Broncos with Julius Thomas.

Last week, our players put up solid numbers with no goose eggs, but with so many crazy high performances, which our lineup failed to hit, likely wiped it out. Our Week 13 Yahoo daily fantasy football cash game lineup looks for that big performance as well as to stay steady with solid performances and no goose eggs.

Yahoo Fantasy Football Week 13: NFL DFS cash lineup picks

QB: Jared Goff, Rams @ Cardinals ($38). Goff slides slightly down the ladder against tough defenses, but he climbs high against poor defenses. Goff's road and home splits are nearly identical, with his road splits slightly better.  Against the top-four teams allowing the most fantasy points to QBs, Goff has scored 32 points (Texans), 36 points (Giants), and 29 points (49ers), respectively. The Cardinals are the sixth-worst, and he has a road game against them this week. Not to mention, he's already played a road game (in England) against the Cardinals, throwing and rushing for one touchdown and scoring a solid 20 fantasy points.

RB: Jamaal Williams, Packers vs. Bucs ($13). At this price, the volume Williams will receive, both rushing and receiving out the backfield, will surely exceed the value. We can't conceivably expect he'll put up two touchdowns and over 100 total yards for the second week, but with Aaron Jones out and Ty Montgomery still sidelined, Williams continue to rack up opportunities and likely a ton of yards.

RB: Alvin Kamara, Saints vs. Panthers ($29).  Kamara continues to be a runaway train, scoring a touchdown and collecting over 100 total yards for the fifth straight game. Kamara caught two passes for 37 yards and a score in Week 3 against the Panthers, and his pass-catching skills, as well as a much better Saints ground game than in Week 3 when Adrian Peterson was there, will offset any worry the second-toughest rush defense will stop the Kamara runaway train.

WR: Keenan Allen, Chargers vs. Browns ($36). Philip Rivers and Allen have ravaged Dallas and Buffalo, two great matchups, and they get their third straight extremely favorable matchup with the Browns. No need to post the absurd stats he's had the past two games, and it's easily conceivable he'll post the same 150-plus yards and a score stat line for the third straight week.

WEEK 13 RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST  | Kicker

WR: Cooper Kupp, Rams @ Cardinals ($18). The Goff-Kupp connection has been fairly solid all season, but it hit highs across the board with Robert Woods gone. The rookie had a career high in targets (11), receptions (8) and yards (116) in Week 12. The Cardinals have struggled all season with WRs, ranking sixth worst in FPPG allowed, and secondary receivers have burned them all season long. With Patrick Peterson covering Sammy Watkins, Kupp could go off for another huge day, even adding a touchdown like he did in Week 7 against the Cardinals.

WR: Jermaine Kearse, Jets vs. Chiefs ($16). Teammate Robby Anderson has caught a touchdown in five straight games, but that streak has to end eventually, and it's very possible it will end this week with Marcus Peters covering him. This will let Kearse take advantage of the other side of the field, where he caught seven passes for 105 yards and a score last week. The Chiefs give up the most fantasy points to WRs, giving Kearse plenty of value and room for another big game even if Anderson makes it six straight.

TE: Julius Thomas, Dolphins vs. Broncos ($15). The Giants have made it two straight games without allowing a touchdown to a tight end, so now the argument can be made for the Broncos to be the worst team against tight ends. Jared Cook bobbled an easy ball away in the end zone, stopping a four-game streak of touchdowns to TEs for the Broncos, but mentally, we'll keep note that it should've been five. Thomas has had arguably his best four games of the year in his past four games, making him a strong, dependable salary relief pick.

FLEX: Duke Johnson Jr., Browns @ Chargers ($19). The Browns are making a concerted effort to give Johnson the ball more, and he did pretty solid last week, catching four of five targets for 32 yards and rushing six times for 35 yards. Johnson continually has a solid floor and is just merely a touchdown away from a breakout game each week. He has a high chance for a touchdown this week against the Chargers, who allow the fourth-most fantasy points to RBs.

D/ST: Denver Broncos @ Dolphins ($15). Between Matt Moore and Jay Cutler, it'll be a win-win either way for the Broncos defense. Moore has four interceptions in his two starts, and Cutler is Cutler, not throwing an interception in only two games. The Dolphins have allowed eight turnovers and eight sacks in the past two games, and the Broncos defense is always capable of big fantasy days, despite the struggles they've had for most of the season.
