Week 2's matchups leave a lot to be desired, but you know Sunday's daily fantasy football main slate will still feature plenty of high-scoring studs and surprise breakouts. Our Yahoo DFS tournament lineup targets what we hope is a good mix of both, paying up for for our QB, RBs, and TE while mining the value bin for our WR picks.
Before we discuss our strategy and picks for Week 2, remember that you only have a $200 budget to work with for Yahoo DFS, so it's a bit of a different vibe than FanDuel or DraftKings. Also, here are the most notable scoring rules for Yahoo contests, which are similar to FanDuel: four-point passing TDs and half-point PPR.

Yahoo DFS Picks Week 2: NFL DFS lineup for GPP tournaments
Sunday main slate (does not include Sunday night), $200 budget
QB Lamar Jackson, Ravens vs. Dolphins ($31). Jackson played well in Week 1, beating the Jets through the air, not with his legs. The former league MVP completed 17-of-30 passes for 213 yards, three touchdowns, and an interception. Jackson could not get going on the ground (17 rushing yards), but he still produced 21.2 fantasy points. Jackson might have to tap into his full bag of tricks against a Dolphins' defense that held the Patriots to 271 total yards and seven points. Jackson is surprisingly $3 cheaper than he was last week, making him a nice value given his sky-high ceiling.
RB Joe Mixon, Bengals @ Cowboys ($28). Mixon did not score a touchdown in last week's regular-season opener but still had 18 fantasy points. The veteran running back was utilized across the Bengals' offense, recording 34 touches (27 carries) for 145 yards. Mixon has an excellent matchup on Sunday against a Cowboys' defense that gave up 127 yards to Leonard Fournette. Mixon, just like Fournette, does not have to split carries, giving him a great shot at 20-plus points.
WEEK 2 DFS: Best values | Best stacks
RB Alvin Kamara, Saints vs. Buccaneers ($25). Kamara struggled in Week 1 against the Falcons, scoring just 6.1 fantasy points. Now he has a tough matchup against the Buccaneers' defense that allowed just 71 rushing yards in Week 1. Most DFS players will shy away from playing Kamara, but he should bounce back despite dealing with a rib issue. Tampa proved to be a tough matchup for Kamara last year (35 touches, 107 total yards, TD), but in tournaments, sometimes you just have to trust elite talent and hope for a big performance at low ownership.
UPDATE: If Kamara (ribs) is out, pivot to Javonte Williams ($23), who should see a lot of touches in a favorable matchup against Houston.
WR Amon-Ra St. Brown, Lions vs. Commanders ($23). Even though RB D'Andre Swift was getting all the praise for his performance in Week 1, St. Brown put on a show in his own right. The second-year wideout was the Lions' leading receiver with eight receptions (12 targets) for 64 yards and a touchdown. For his efforts, he scored 16.4 fantasy points at a $21 salary. The Lions will be looking for St. Brown to lead the way against the Commanders, who allowed 31.7 fantasy points to wide receivers in Week 1. The young receiver will likely be covered by Kendall Fuller or William Jackson III. Neither could contain Christian Kirk or Zay Jones, who had 117 and 65 receiving yards, respectively, in Week 1.
WR D.J. Moore, Panthers @ Giants ($18). Moore had a relatively quiet first game against the Browns, but we should expect him to pick it up in Week 2. In Week 1, Moore recorded just three receptions (six targets) for 43 yards. The Giants were fairly solid against Tennessee's anemic passing game last week, but they did give up nine targets and 66 yards to Titans rookie wideout Kyle Philips. Moore will steal some of Robbie Anderson's thunder and get back in fantasy owners' good graces. If he does, he won't be this cheap next week.
WEEK 2 PPR RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/ST | Kicker
WR Hunter Renfrow, Raiders vs. Cardinals ($18). Renfrow was another player who struggled in Week 1, but he should have a good game against the Cardinals in Week 2. The Cardinals' defense got lit up by Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs to open up the season. Renfrow had just three receptions (six targets) for 21 yards against the Chargers; however, with Davante Adams and Darren Waller drawing a ton of attention, Renfrow is due to get some targets and yards against nickel cornerback Marco Wilson.
TE Mark Andrews, Ravens vs. Dolphins ($28). Our primary stack for Week 2 will be Jackson and Andrews against the Dolphins. Andrews did not score a touchdown in last week's win over the Jets, but he still produced five receptions (seven targets) for 52 yards. The Ravens' young WR tandem of Devin Duvernay and Rashod Bateman stood out, but Andrews should be more involved against the Dolphins. Last year against Miami, the star tight end recorded six receptions (eight targets) for 63 yards and a touchdown, and a similar performance isn't out of the question. The price is high, but that might actually lead to lower ownership after Andrews' lackluster Week 1.
WEEK 2 STANDARD RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/ST | Kicker
FLEX Jarvis Landry, Saints vs. Buccaneers ($15). We are going to take a shot on Landry, who turned back the clock in Week 1 against the Falcons. The veteran receiver led the Saints in targets (9) over the likes of Michael Thomas. He also was New Orleans' leading receiver with seven receptions for 114 yards.. That being said, he has a tough matchup against the Buccaneers' defense on Sunday. Tampa Bay's defense only gave up 18 fantasy points to wide receivers in Week 1 (fourth fewest in the league). If Landry can come down with at least five receptions and either a decent amount of yards or a TD, he'll return major value on his modest salary. Hopefully others are scared away by the matchup.
DEF Browns vs. Jets ($14). For defense, we are going to keep it simple with the Browns despite the fact they managed just six fantasy points in last week's win over the Panthers. That was largely because they only produced one turnover despite sacking Baker Mayfield four times. Now they get to face the Jets, who have a shaky offensive line in front of an immobile, mistake-prone QB (Joe Flacco). This should be breakout week for the Browns' D/ST.
