Fantasy Football Week 11 Sleepers: Rex Burkhead, Jamaal Williams to take advantage of favorable matchups image

To trust or not to trust? That is the question for the majority of our Week 11 sleeper picks, many of which have been untrustworthy and on the start-sit bubble all year. We're on the Ravens offense with Joe Flacco and Jeremy Maclin, and we dig our feet into the ground, standing by Jay Cutler, Ryan Fitzpatrick and Amari Cooper. Our other picks include top waiver wire pickups Jamaal Williams and Rex Burkhead, everyone's favorite TE matchups with Marcedes Lewis (@ Browns) and Tyler Kroft (@ Broncos), and both defenses in the Broncos and Bengals game.

Last week, we doubled up on the Giants with Orleans Darkwa and Eli Manning, and the notorious Browns and Giants TE matchups worked again with Garrett Celek and Eric Ebron. We also found success with Matt Ryan, JuJu Smith-Schuster, DeSean Jackson, and the Patriots D/ST. This week, we predict good games for the players below.

Week 11 fantasy football sleepers: Running backs

Jamaal Williams, Packers vs. Ravens (Tony Fortier-Bensen). Aaron Jones (MCL) is out indefinitely and Ty Montgomery (ribs) is pp in the air, so this is Williams’ backfield as long as both are out. The Ravens are dominant against the pass with a tendency to give up big yards on the ground, which means less passes for rookie Brett Hundley and more runs for Williams.

Jerick McKinnon, Vikings vs. Rams (Vinnie Iyer). It's easier for shiftier backs to produce against the Rams than Latavius Murray types. The Rams also are vulnerable to backs in the passing game.

Rex Burkhead, Patriots vs. Raiders (in Mexico) (Matt Lutovsky). Burkhead has posted back-to-back games with double-digit touches, and last week's deactivation of Mike Gillislee goes a long way in ensuring a higher floor. Burkhead hasn't been overly impressive as a runner, but the Raiders give up the fifth-most fantasy points per game (FPPG) to RBs, so Burkhead can get them on the ground and through the air.

Week 11 fantasy football sleepers: Quarterbacks

Jay Cutler, Dolphins vs. Bucs (Fortier-Bensen). Cutler has four straight games of multiple TDs and on the road, the Bucs average over 20 FPPG to QBs. Cutler continues his streak.

Joe Flacco, Ravens @ Packers (Iyer). Digging deep for a streamer? Flacco should have his second straight two-TD game on Green Bay's weak pass defense, which doesn't match up well with his primary targets.

Ryan Fitzpatrick, Bucs @ Dolphins (Lutovsky). Getting Mike Evans back will be huge against this beleaguered Dolphins defense. Tampa simply has too many weapons, and even Fitzpatrick can take advantage.

Week 11 fantasy football sleepers: Wide receivers

Amari Cooper, Raiders vs. Patriots (in Mexico City) (Fortier-Bensen).  He’s led the team in targets the past three weeks, and since his breakout game in Week 7, he’s averaged nearly five catches and 53 receiving yards. The Pats defense is still getting burned left and right, averaging the second-most FPPG allowed to WRs this season.

Jeremy Maclin, Ravens @ Packers (Iyer) He's a good sneaky stack with Flacco is cash games this week. He can use his veteran route running to get the better of Damarious Randall.

Danny Amendola, Patriots vs. Raiders (in Mexico) (Lutovsky). The stats don't exactly scream "Play Amendola!", but if Chris Hogan (shoulder) is out again, look for Amendola to rack up catches against a mediocre Raiders pass defense. The Pats can move the ball against anyone, and Amendola will fare much better than he did against the Broncos tough defensive backs.

Week 11 fantasy football sleepers: Tight ends

Tyler Kroft, Bengals @ Broncos (Fortier-Bensen). If there’s any other team as dependable as the Giants in allowing big games to TEs, it’s the Broncos (six TDs in nine games). Kroft joins the party.

Marcedes Lewis, Jaguars @ Browns (Iyer). He has the second-best matchup for the position of the week (only Travis Kelce vs. the Giants is better), and the Jags are down Allen Hurns. The targets and a TD are in the works.

Jermaine Gresham, Cardinals @ Texans (Lutovsky). Sure, it's scary to start a pass-catcher who has Blaine Gabbert throwing to him, but Gresham scored in consecutive weeks with Drew Stanton under center. He can do it again this week against a Texans defense allowing the ninth-most FPPG to TEs.

Week 11 fantasy football sleepers: Defenses

Los Angeles Chargers vs. Bills (Fortier-Bensen). The Bills average a mere 15 PPG on the road, and the Chargers have recorded at least two turnovers in four of the past five games. And now Nathan Peterman is starting this game over Tyrod Taylor.

Denver Broncos vs. Bengals (Iyer). They haven't been anything close to the studly unit we know and love, but they're angry and will take it out on a limited offense with Andy Dalton.

Cincinnati Bengals @ Broncos (Lutovsky). The turnovers haven't been there for the Bengals this year, but they can still rack up sacks. Against Brock Osweiler, they'll get some of each.
