In order to achieve profitable daily fantasy football results, owners must pinpoint sleepers and value picks at certain positions so they can afford high-priced studs in other roster spots. RotoQL is here to highlight our favorite Week 10 bargain plays for DraftKings and FanDuel contests and guide you to optimal lineup success as you attempt to bring home some NFL DFS cash.
If you read this column last week, you would have benefited from our advice to plug in QBs Justin Herbert and Drew Lock, RBs Chase Edmonds and Zack Moss, and WRs Brandin Cooks and Marvin Jones. Selecting any of these lower-priced, under-the-radar players may have afforded you bigger-budget names like Kyler Murray, Dalvin Cook, or Tyreek Hill without sacrificing production.

WEEK 10 DFS TOURNAMENT LINEUPS: DraftKings | FanDuel
NFL DFS Picks Week 10: QB sleepers, values
Jared Goff, Los Angeles Rams vs. Seattle Seahawks (DK: $6,500 | FD: $7,400)
Full disclosure: I’d actually pick Justin Herbert for $100 more, but it’s painfully unoriginal to pick the same player every week. Goff can get the job done against a Seahawks secondary that bleeds points on the regular and just made Josh Allen look like an MVP candidate again. Goff’s fantasy output has remained steady despite tough matchups against the 49ers, Bears, and Dolphins. RotoQL projects a ceiling of 30 points for Goff with a solid floor of 17.8.
Carson Wentz, Philadelphia Eagles at New York Giants (DK: $5,900 | FD: $7,500)
Wentz put up 31.76 fantasy points against these same Giants in Week 7, and now he has rookie receiver Jalen Reagor and tight end Dallas Goedert back from their respective injuries. Even more important, he should have stud running back Miles Sanders back, which will help keep New York’s front seven honest and maybe out of his constantly collapsing pocket. Wentz has the highest ceiling of any QB priced in the $6,000/$7,500 range.
Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins vs. Los Angeles Chargers (DK: $5,600 | FD: $6,800)
Well, that was a fun first road win for the No. 5 pick, now wasn’t it? Tua outdueled the highlight reel known as Kyler Murray 34-31 last week, putting up 21.42 fantasy points in the process. He’s not a conventional QB like Tom Brady, nor is he an awe-inspiring playmaker like Murray. But he’s a tremendous competitor, and he sure seems to have his receiving corps fully bought in early into his tenure. The Chargers are one of the more disappointing defenses of 2020, mostly due to injuries, and they give up the sixth-most fantasy points to QBs. Tua Time 2.0 is upon us.
WEEK 10 DFS CASH LINEUPS: DraftKings | FanDuel
Week 10 DraftKings, FanDuel Picks: RB sleepers, values
James Robinson, Jacksonville Jaguars at Green Bay Packers (DK: $6,600 | FD: $7,300)
The Jake Luton experience did not prove to be nearly as ugly as anyone predicted, and the undrafted rookie phenom Robinson continued to eat well. He has reached double-digit fantasy points every week and has averaged 21.3 points over the past three games. This kid will be good for a very long time if he stays healthy, and a matchup against a soft Packers defense should not scare anyone away from a $6,600/$7,300 price tag.
Antonio Gibson, Washington Football Team at Detroit Lions (DK: $5,600 | FD: $6,100)
The Curse of the Washington QB Leg Breaks continues, as Kyle Allen becomes the most recent unfortunate victim. In comes Alex Smith, who has fully recovered from his own gruesome on-field fracture from two years ago. Coach Ron Rivera has to figure out a way to incorporate Gibson into Smith’s routine because he easily serves as the second-best playmaker on this offense behind wideout Terry McLaurin. The rookie back has scored 35.3 points the past two weeks despite being priced in the $5,000-$5,800 range on DraftKings. Most important: Detroit gives up the most fantasy points to running backs. Dear DFS players, and Dearest Riverboat Ron: Don’t overthink Gibson here.
Leonard Fournette, Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Carolina Panthers (DK: $5,500 | FD: $6,400)
Fournette has steadily been supplanting Ronald Jones as the bellcow back in Tampa, averaging 65 percent of snaps over the past three games compared to Jones’ 33 percent. It helps that Fournette has been a much more reliable receiver and far superior blocker in pass protection. Brady clearly favors the fourth-overall pick of the 2017 Draft, so Fournette is the guy to roll with against an abysmal Carolina run defense. The Panthers surrender the fifth-most points to RBs. Fire up Lenny in a get-right divisional game for the Bucs.
WEEK 10 PPR RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker
FanDuel, DraftKings Picks Week 10: WR sleepers, values
Travis Fulgham, Philadelphia Eagles at New York Giants (DK: $6,400 | FD: $6,800)
If you’re going with the aforementioned Wentz, why not stack him with the surprise fantasy receiver of the year in Fulgham? Since he broke out in Week 4, Fulgham has averaged 19.9 fantasy points per game. That’s some league-winning production from a waiver-wire gem and some DFS-winning value from a guy whose cost average on DraftKings was $3,780 over that span. His prices have obviously risen, but his volume and production keep him in the value category as long as he’s below $7,000/$7,500. Just like Robinson, Fulgham is the real deal.
Brandin Cooks, Houston Texans at Cleveland Browns (DK: $5,600 | FD: $6,300)
Just keep listing this guy at bargain prices, and we will keep featuring him as a big-upside value pick. Cooks burned the Jaguars secondary for a long touchdown last week, and he’ll more than likely burn the awful Browns secondary for one this week. Cleveland ranks 28th against wide receivers in fantasy, and Cooks has averaged 21.3 PPR points over his past four games, so why he’s priced in the $5K-$6K range is a mystery -- one we should all capitalize on.
Jerry Jeudy, Denver Broncos at Las Vegas Raiders (DK: $5,600 | FD: $5,800)
Somebody might have slipped Jeudy a memo last week informing the rookie that he’s the best receiver in Denver. He sure played like it, hanging 28.5 PPR points on the Falcons in a losing effort. The Broncos will probably lose again this week, but there’s no reason to think Jeudy can’t replicate his Week 9 success against a mediocre Raiders secondary. Judge Jeudy for what he can do, not for what the inconsistent team around him cannot.
John Brown, Buffalo Bills at Arizona Cardinals (DK: $5,300 | FD: $5,600)
Top Bills wideout Stefon Diggs will probably be getting the Patrick Peterson treatment this weekend, which will lead to increased volume for Brown. Brown already had a 28.9-percent target share in Buffalo’s huge win over the Seahawks last week, and he made the most of his increased looks. He corralled eight-of-11 targets for 99 yards, good for 17.9 PPR points. He’s finally back to full health, so use him just like Josh Allen will this Sunday.
WEEK 10 STANDARD RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker
Week 10 NFL DFS Picks: TE sleepers, values
Dallas Goedert, Philadelphia Eagles at New York Giants (DK: $4,200 | FD: $5,800)
After recovering from a fracture in his ankle, Goedert returned from IR in Week 8 and played 84 percent of Philly’s offensive snaps. However, game script in the convincing 23-9 win over the Cowboys never really called for him to do much but block. The aforementioned Wentz may need his tight end’s pass-catching services this week against the Giants considering New York played them tough in a tight 22-21 Eagles win in Week 7. Richard Rodgers gobbled up six-of-eight targets for 85 yards in that contest, but he returned to relative obscurity when Goedert returned the following week. Goedert enjoyed 17 targets in his first two games of the season, hauling in 12 catches for 131 yards and a score. In what should be a close divisional contest against a decent Giants defense, the third-year South Dakota State product will more than likely be busy.
Austin Hooper, Cleveland Browns vs. Houston Texans (DK: $3,900 | FD: $5,100)
Hooper has missed the last two games after an emergency appendectomy on Oct. 23. If Browns QB Baker Mayfield gets removed from the COVID-19 list by Sunday, he will be looking Hooper’s way plenty. Mayfield targeted Hooper 23 times in the three games preceding his appendicitis, and the two-time Pro Bowl tight end caught 15 passes in that span. Mind you, that was before wideout Odell Beckham Jr. suffered a season-ending ACL tear, so Hooper’s role will only expand once he returns. He's a great play if he and Mayfield are both active against the lowly defense of the Texans.

Week 10 NFL DFS values: D/ST sleepers
New Orleans Saints vs. San Francisco 49ers (DK: $3,000 | FD: $4,500)
The Saints’ defense looked phenomenal against Tom Brady and the Buccaneers in prime time last Sunday night, tallying three interceptions and three sacks in a 38-3 romp. The Bucs went 1-for-9 on third downs and turned the ball over on downs three times. This week, New Orleans hosts an injury-ravaged 49ers offense that is coming off a dreadful performance against the Packers on Thursday Night Football in Week 9. More takeaways should be on the horizon for this motivated defense.
