Happy Wednesday -- it's time to make some money. We have a split slate for today's daily fantasy baseball action, so Wednesday's Playbook will be covering the evening contests. All three sites start at 6:07 p.m. ET, with DraftKings and Yahoo carrying seven games and FanDuel including 10 due to the inclusion of three 6:40 p.m. ET games. Even though the number of games is a little different between the sites, they all have one thing in common -- no Coors! So, it's back to normal tonight, and we're here to help your lineup picks with our favorite high-priced studs and value sleepers.

Today's MLB DFS Playbook: Lineup picks, tips for Wednesday
Carlos Rodon, SP, Giants (@ Mets). Rodon is the top overall pitcher of the slate on all sites. He struck out 12 Marlins over five innings in the season opener and then nine more Guardians last weekend in seven innings for an overall 46.7-percent strikeout rate. Facing the Mets, who are striking out at a 23-percent clip and have just a .215 average .108 ISO against lefties. Rodon is well worth the high price tag.
Merrill Kelly, Diamondbacks (@ Nationals). Kelly transformed his changeup over the winter, and the results have been close to amazing. In his first start against the Padres, he struck out seven and allowed just four hits on 75 pitches in four innings. His next start was against a team that doesn't strike out, the Astros, and Kelly whiffed six, allowing no earned runs and only three hits in the process. Today, he's in a pitchers park and gets a weak Nationals lineup that strikes out 23 percent of the time against righties.
Gary Sanchez, C, Twins (@ Royals). Sanchez has already impressed with his defense and bat, and now he gets a plus matchup against Daniel Lynch, who is terrible against righties (.392 wOBA and .222 ISO). Sanchez is coming off a two-double night and is a streaky hitter, so a big bomb could be in the works tonight.
Seth Beer, 1B, Diamondbacks (@ Nationals). It's a limited sample size, but Beer is crushing early this season. Normally a DH, Beer did play 1B yesterday and went 2-for-4 with a double in the first game of the Nats doubleheader and had another hit and walk in the nightcap. He is hitting.390 and crushing southpaws to (.350 ISO, .500 wOBA) with fly-ball and hard-contact both over 50 percent. Those rates are to see negative regression, but ride the hot wave, especially when Fedde allows a lot of power to lefthanded bats.
Whit Merrifield, 2B, Royals (vs. Twins). I'm going back and forth between Brandon Lowe and Merrifield for top spend-up, and I lean Whit due to matchup. The Royals will be facing Chris Paddack, who did not look good in his first start when he allowed three runs on six hits in four innings. Whit is one of those players who can produce fantasy points without even getting a hit thanks to his speed.
Rafael Devers, 3B, Red Sox (vs. Blue Jays). Devers is in a smash spot tonight. He's slashing .320/.333/.511 with a .624 XSLG and .345 XBA and facing Jose Berrios, who has allowed seven runs and three home runs over 5.1 innings this year. A .330 ISO and .387 wOBA with 50-percent fly-ball/hard-contact make Devers a top HR call today.
Corey Seager, SS, Rangers (@ Mariners). I respect Logan Gilbert tonight and think he will have a slid game but Seager makes for a nice tournament play due to his ability to hit righties (.208 ISO and .371 wOBA with 44-percent hard-contact rate). Overall, he's hitting .290 on the season with a .341 OBP and .328 wOBA.
Juan Soto, OF, Nationals (vs. Mets). I'm a big fan of Merrill Kelly tonight in cash, but if fading the righty in GPPs, you must lock in Soto. With a .235 ISO, .451 wOBA and elite 50-plus-percent hard-contact rate, Soto is the top tournament one-off play of the night.
MORE PICKS: SP Logan Gilbert (Mariners), C Zack Collins (Blue Jays), 1B Ty France (Mariners), 2B Jorge Polanco (Twins), OF Alex Verdugo (Red Sox), Joc Pederson (Giants).
