Darius Slayton (L), Curtis Samuel (R)

In the last game to wrap up Sunday's slate, we have a pivotal NFC East matchup between the Giants and the Commanders on Sunday Night Football (8:20 p.m. ET, NBC). The Commanders enter this primetime contest as 4.5-point favorites, with the over/under set at 40 points, according to BetMGM. This game does not have a ton of star power, but there are still a few players (Terry McLaurin, Saquon Barkley, Brian Robinson, etc.) that you want to have in FanDuel single-game lineup on Sunday night.

Let's dive into our FanDuel Single Game Showdown for Sunday Night Football. Here are the notable scoring settings for FanDuel single-game contests:

  • The point total for the "MVP" is multiplied by 1.5, but he doesn't cost any additional money like the "Captain" in DraftKings Showdown contests.
  • FanDuel's default scoring is half-point PPR and four-point passing TDs.
  • Unlike on DraftKings, FanDuel features no bonuses for 300-yard/100-yard games

FanDuel Single Game DFS Picks: Giants vs. Commanders Sunday Night Football

$60,000 budget; must roster at least one player from each team

MVP (1.5x points): RB Brian Robinson, Commanders ($13,000)

The rookie running back had a solid performance the last time he played the Giants a couple of weeks ago at MetLife Stadium. Robinson led the way in the Commanders' backfield with 96 yards on 21 carries and two receptions for 15 yards. The former Alabama standout also scored 12.1 FanDuel points, making it the third time in four weeks that Robinson scored double-digit fantasy points. We should expect a similar outing from the rookie on Sunday night, even though he has a quad injury. Last week, the Giants' defense gave up 253 rushing yards to the Eagles, which coincides with their issues stopping the run this season (149.7 yards per game allowed). If you want to go against the grain at Captain, Robinson is not a bad play, as we know he will get the carries.

FLEX QB Taylor Heinicke, Commanders ($14,500)

Between the two starting quarterbacks in Sunday's night game, Heinicke is the best DFS option as he has the better players at the skill positions (WR/RB), which should hopefully lead to a good performance. When these two teams played each other in Week 13, The 29-year-old Heinicke completed 27-of-41 passes for 275 yards and two touchdowns (17.6 FanDuel points). He should be in line for another solid performance against New York's defense, which has the 17th-ranked pass defense but allows the 15th-fewest FanDuel points to QBs (16.5). In three home games this season, Heinicke is averaging 14.2 FanDuel points per game with six TDs and three interceptions.

WEEK 15 STANDARD RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

FLEX WR Curtis Samuel, Commanders ($11,000)

With Heinicke in our single-game lineup, the next logical play would be Terry McLaurin, Washington's top receiving threat, who has played well over the past four games. However, we will go with Curtis Samuel, which is a contrarian play. The veteran wide receiver started the regular season on fire but hit a lull when the schedule flipped to November. Samuel played well in the Commanders' first meeting against the Giants, recording six receptions (seven targets) for 63 yards and 11.6 FanDuel points. The last time the veteran wide receiver scored 10 or more FanDuel points was against the Vikings in Week 9 (15.6). Samuel will be going up against a Giants' defense that allows the 10th-fewest FanDuel points to WRs (25.5). It's not a great matchup, but with McLaurin receiving attention on the outside, Samuel will have some opportunities against Fabian Moreau and Nick McCloud in the slot.

WEEK 15 DFS: Best values | Best stacks

FLEX WR Darius Slayton, Giants ($11,000)

If the Giants want to win on Sunday night, they must get Slayton involved early and often in the passing game. The veteran wide receiver was held to 5.2 FanDuel points by the Eagles' defense last week. However, Slayton was successful against this Commanders' secondary in Week 13. The vet scored 12 FanDuel points (six receptions for 90 yards). Since Week 7 against the Jaguars, Slayton is producing 10.78 FanDuel points per game, which is higher than his season average (9.03). Also, do not be surprised if Slayton scores a touchdown, as the Commanders' defense has allowed 11 touchdowns to wide receivers this season.

WEEK 14 PPR RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

FLEX WR Isaiah Hodgins, Giants ($10,000)

Lastly, we will round out our single-game lineup with Hodgins, who has emerged as another receiving threat for Giants QB Daniel Jones. The 24-year-old wide receiver has made some plays over the past two games, scoring a touchdown against the Commanders and Eagles. If you had Hodgins in your lineup, he gave you 12.9 and 13.8 FanDuel points in consecutive weeks. The former sixth-round pick will see this Commanders' defense again, which has allowed the 15th-fewest FanDuel points to WRs (27.6). However, with New York lacking playmakers at wide receiver, Hodgins will get a considerable amount of targets and be a factor on Sunday night.
