Is Odell Beckham Jr. playing Sunday night? Fantasy injury update for Ravens-Chargers Week 12 Sunday Night Football image

The Ravens are entering uncharted territory, beginning life without Mark Andrews (ankle) on Sunday night when they battle the Chargers at SoFi Stadium. The tight end had played in a majority of games throughout his career, but his return is now far from imminent, meaning this is the Ravens' offense moving forward. That's great news for WR Odell Beckham Jr., who's been playing his best ball in a Ravens' uniform over the past three games. However, that optimism is threatened by OBJ's injury status, as the big-name pass-catcher will be a self-described "game-time decision."

We'll continue to update this article with news on Beckham until the official active/inactive report comes out on Sunday around 6:50 p.m. ET, so check back for the latest.

WEEK 12 INJURY UPDATES:
White/Pierce/Hollywood | Flowers | Jefferson

Is Odell Beckham Jr. playing Sunday night Week 12?

UPDATE: ESPN's Adam Schefter reported late Saturday night that Beckham Jr. is expected to play against the Chargers.

UPDATE 2: Beckham Jr. is officially ACTIVE.

Beckham (shoulder) has never been a stranger to injury, with issues only becoming more frequent as time ticks on, but the receiver was afforded some extra time off after the most recent ailment thanks to the Ravens' mini-bye after a Thursday night win in Week 11. Ahead of Sunday night's action, the arrow continued to point up, as OBJ graduated from a DNP on Wednesday to a full practice on Friday

With that in mind, Beckham's "questionable" designation seems to be trending more toward probable than anything else. Although it's not against the Rams, this would mark Beckham's first time playing at SoFi Stadium since tearing his ACL in Super Bowl LVI. It's a good spot for him, too, matching up against the league's most generous pass defense. Chargers' head coach Brandon Staley continues to come under fire for his team's poor defensive performances, something that appears to be getting worse with each passing week as the seat gets hotter.

WEEK 12 FANTASY ADVICE:
Sleepers | Busts | Projections | Start-sit

Beckham will have the chance to take advantage of that situation and likely with some more targets heading his way now that Mark Andrews (ankle) is likely done for the year. The biggest concern with Beckham is waiting all day for him to play, only to have him listed as a surprise inactive. Our concern about that is relatively low, barring a setback in warmups. OBJ just turned in his first 100-yard game of the season and has scored touchdowns in two of the past three.

WEEK 12 PPR RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

Considering Zay Flowers (hip) is also on the injury report, it would make sense to roster someone like Rashod Bateman or Nelson Agholor if you have the spot, just for some added insurance. You could also grab Jalen Guyton or Darnell Mooney. Otherwise, slot Beckham into the lineup in what should be a good showing for him.
