Just a couple weeks ago we saw some of the most impactful weather in recent memory with 50-plus-mph wind gusts in Cleveland and strong winds in Green Bay. The Week 10 NFL weather forecast suggests we could be doing it all over again -- only this time, there might be light snow on top of it all in one spot. This will surely affect fantasy start 'em, sit 'em decisions, as several "must-start" QBs and WRs are playing in those games.
Before we get into the Week 10 forecasts, here's a reminder that if you have any questions about sports weather or how weather could impact play (and, potentially, your fantasy, DFS, and gambling decisions), don't hesitate to reach out to Rotogrinders' meteorologist Kevin Roth on Twitter (@KevinRothWx) or check out the hourly NFL weather forecasts on RotoGrinders. Texans @ Browns. Sustained winds of 25 mph with stronger gusts, perhaps up to 50 mph, will impact deep passes and kicks (longer FGs won't even be attempted). Bump down to the passing attack of both teams, and expect more run-centric game plans. This game looks almost exactly as windy as the Week 8 game between the Browns and Raiders that saw 233 total yards passing and 22 total points. I would recommend fading the passing game and kickers and concentrating on D/STs and RBs here.
Jaguars @ Packers. The forecast here looks almost exactly the same as in Cleveland except we can add in some light snow/flurries, too. Fortunately, I think the more significant snow will be clear by kickoff, but mostly it's the high wind that's a problem. Sustain winds of 25 mph with gusts around 50 mph are in play. I'm not saying you bench Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams, but the passing games in general will struggle, and kickers are a definite bench.
Bengals @ Steelers. Rain is looking less likely than earlier in the week, but we're still dealing with 15-20-mph winds. That will impact to a few deep throws and long field-goal attempts.
