Week 5 of the NFL season will wrap up on Monday Night Football with an AFC West showdown between the Raiders and Chiefs at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. The Chiefs are seven-point favorites, and the total is set at O/U 51.5 points, according to Caesars Sportsbooks. Kansas City has a ton of great NFL DFS options, such as Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, who could be good picks for the Captain spots in DraftKings Showdown lineups. Las Vegas has Derek Carr, Davante Adams, and Darren Waller, who can put up points in bunches and warrant Captain spot consideration, too.
Here are the key scoring settings for DraftKings Showdown contests: They're full-point PPR and there are three-point bonuses for 300 passing yards, 100 rushing yards, and 100 receiving yards. The Captain pick costs 1.5 times a player's original price, but he also gets his point total multiplied by 1.5.

$50,000 budget, need at least one player from each team.
Captain (1.5x points, 1.5x salary): TE Travis Kelce, Chiefs ($16,200)
Most DFS players will put Patrick Mahomes in their Captain spot, but we will instead choose Kelce, who continues to be Mahomes' top receiver. He's averaging 20.3 fantasy points per game, which is typically what elite WRs average. Kelce has scored a touchdown in back-to-back games and averaged 21.05 FPPG over that span. We should expect to see another big performance from the All-Pro tight end, who has had at least 90 receiving yards in five out of his past six games against the Raiders.

FLEX QB Patrick Mahomes, Chiefs ($12,000)
With Kelce as the Captain for the showdown contest, Mahomes is a lock to be one of our flex plays. The veteran dual-threat quarterback has been outstanding this season. This season, Mahomes has been efficient with 11 touchdowns and two interceptions. He's also averaging 24.4 FPPG and is coming off a 24.4-point performance against the Bucs in Week 4. It's hard not to see Mahomes being successful against a Raiders' defense that has a solid pass rush but lacks playmakers at the cornerback spot. Las Vegas is giving up 24.4 FPPG to quarterbacks this season (fourth most in the NFL).
FLEX RB Josh Jacobs, Raiders ($8,800)
Jacobs has quietly been putting together a solid season for the Raiders through the first four weeks. The veteran running back had shined last week against the Broncos, recording 175 yards of total offense on 33 carries and two rushing touchdowns (37.5 fantasy points). It was the second consecutive week Jacobs had double-digit fantasy points, and the first time he ran for 140-plus yards in his career. The Chiefs are only giving up 65.8 rushing yards per game, which is the best in the NFL. However, Kansas City is allowing the fifth-most fantasy points per game to running backs this season (27.9). If Jacobs can score between 10-15 fantasy points against the Chiefs, it will help out your lineup.
FLEX WR JuJu Smith-Schuster, Chiefs ($6,600)
The veteran wide receiver has yet to score a touchdown this season, but he has an opportunity to snap his scoreless streak on Monday Night Football. The Raiders' defense will be so concerned about Kelce, leaving Smith-Schuster to make some plays. Las Vegas has allowed four touchdowns and 34.7 FPPG to wide receivers this season. Smith-Schuster has received eight targets in three out of four games this year.
FLEX K Daniel Carlson, Raiders ($3,800)
If the Raiders have any issues scoring inside the red zone on Monday night, they can lean on their stellar placekicker. Carlson is a perfect 12-for-12 on field goal attempts and averaging 11.5 FPPG. He has made two or more field goals in all four games this year and recorded double-digit fantasy points in three-straight games. He's one of the better kickers in fantasy and can outscore some skill players on MNF.
FLEX WR Skyy Moore, Chiefs ($2,400)
Finally, we will take a shot on Moore, who had two receptions (four targets) for 31 yards and 5.1 fantasy points last week. If you put the rookie in your lineup, you are not expecting a ton of fantasy points. If anything, you are hoping he can have a couple of big catches or score a touchdown at his salary.
