Giants-Eagles FanDuel Picks: NFL DFS lineup advice for playoff single-game contests image

In the final game on Saturday night, Daniel Jones and the Giants will go on the road to play Jalen Hurts and the Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field in the NFC divisional round (8:15 p.m. ET, FOX). This will be the third time these two NFC East rivals have played each other this season and the second time within the past few weeks, and that familiarity gives NFL DFS players plenty of past data to go on when putting together FanDuel single-game lineups.

Before we get into our picks and strategy, here are the notable scoring settings for FanDuel single-game contests: The point total for the "MVP" is multiplied by 1.5, but he doesn't cost any additional money like the "Captain" in DraftKings Showdown contests. FanDuel's default scoring is half-point PPR and four-point passing TDs, and there are no bonuses for 300-yard/100-yard games like on DraftKings.

Giants-Eagles FanDuel Picks

$60,000 budget, need at least one player from each team

MVP (1.5x points): QB Daniel Jones, Giants ($15,500)

Jones is coming off an outstanding performance in last week's win over the Vikings, producing 379 yards of total offense and two passing touchdowns (27.84 FanDuel points). It was the second time in the past four weeks that Jones had over 300-plus yards of total offense and the third-straight game with 20-plus FanDuel points. Jones will try to replicate this performance against the Eagles, who finished the regular season with the top-ranked pass defense (179.9 passing yards per game) and allowed the eighth-fewest FanDuel points to QBs (15.4). The last time Jones played Philly in Week 15, he scored 19.36 FanDuel points (195 total yards and two total touchdowns). It won't be an easy matchup for Jones, but we are banking on him using his legs against this aggressive Eagles' pass rush.

FLEX WR A.J. Brown, Eagles ($14,000)

Even though we won't have Jalen Hurts in our lineup, Brown is still a good option. In the Eagles' last meeting against New York in Week 18, the star wide receiver had four receptions (10 targets) for 95 yards. Brown ended the regular season scoring 10-plus FanDuel points in seven-straight games, including the Eagles' first meeting against Big Blue when he had four receptions (six targets) for 70 yards and a touchdown in Week 15 (15 FanDuel points). We like the veteran receiver to have a good game against a Giants' defense that held Vikings star wideout Justin Jefferson in check but gave up 33.4 FanDuel points per game and 13 TDs to WRs this season. Look for Hurts to get Brown going early against Adoree' Jackson, who is making just his second start since returning from injury.

FLEX WR Isaiah Hodgins, Giants ($10,500)

Hodgins has been a God-send to the Giants this season, as he's evolved into their No. 1 wide receiver. Last week against the Vikings, Hodgins put on another show, producing eight receptions (nine targets) for 105 yards and a touchdown (20.5 FanDuel points). It was the third-straight game in which Hodgins scored double-digit FanDuel points. In Week 15 against the Eagles, Hodgins had four receptions (six targets) for 38 yards and a touchdown (13.8 FanDuel points), which shows he still has a decent floor and ceiling against Philadelphia's top-ranked pass defense.

FLEX TE Dallas Goedert, Eagles ($10,000)

Goedert should be in multiple lineups after what we saw T.J. Hockenson do to this Giants' defense last week (10 receptions for 129 yards). The Eagles' starting tight end should have similar success on Saturday. In the Eagles' final game in Week 18, Goedert had six receptions (seven targets) for 46 yards (7.6 FanDuel points) against the Giants. Even though Goedert didn't score a touchdown, it was good to see him involved in the Eagles' offense. He has an excellent chance to dent the end zone against a Giants' defense that allowed the 12th-most FanDuel points to TEs (10.5) this season.

FLEX WR Richie James Jr., Giants ($7,500)

Lastly, we will round out our lineup with James Jr., who had a quiet performance in last week's win over the Vikings. James will have to be more of an impact player on Saturday night, especially if the Eagles try to take Hodgins out of the picture. The last time James faced the Eagles, he had seven receptions (nine targets) for 61 yards and a touchdown (15.6 FanDuel points). If the veteran wide receiver can play like that on Saturday night, it will be a noticeable boost for many single-game lineups.
