Giants-Eagles DraftKings Picks: NFL DFS lineup advice for playoff Showdown tournaments image

Saturday's divisional-round doubleheader wraps up with the Giants heading down to Philadelphia to face the Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field (8:15 p.m. ET, FOX), with the winner advancing to the NFC Championship game. The top-seeded Eagles are listed as 7.5-point favorites, and the total is set at O/U 48.5 points, according to BetMGM. Philadelphia swept the two-game season series from New York, which includes a 22-16 win in Week 18 to capture the No. 1 seed in the NFC and the NFC East crown. NFL DFS players will have a lot of standout players to choose from as they put together their DraftKings Showdown lineups.

Before we get into our lineup and strategy, here are the key scoring settings for DraftKings Showdown contests: They're full-point PPR and there are three-point bonuses for 300 passing yards, 100 rushing yards, and 100 receiving yards. The Captain pick costs 1.5 times a player's original price, but he also gets his point total multiplied by 1.5.

Playoff DraftKings Showdown Picks: Giants vs. Eagles

$50,000 budget, need at least one player from each team.

Captain (1.5x points, 1.5x salary): TE Dallas Goedert, Eagles ($9,300)

With the Eagles having so many playmakers on offense, Goedert sometimes gets overlooked. However, we like him to have a big performance against a Giants' defense that allowed 10 receptions (11 targets) for 129 yards to T.J. Hockenson last week. Goedert is just as athletic as Hockenson and could do similar damage in an Eagles' offense that can beat you in multiple ways. In the Eagles' regular season finale against the Giants, Goedert posted six receptions (seven targets) for 10.6 DraftKings points. We like Goedert to score 10 or more DK points against a New York defense that allowed the 11th-most DraftKings points to TEs (13.4) during the regular season.

FLEX QB Jalen Hurts, Eagles ($11,800)

Hurts returned in Week 18 against New York after missing the previous two games with a shoulder injury. Eagles fans and DFS players hope that the extra week of rest helped Hurts, who scored a season-low 9.5 DraftKings points (299 yards and an interception) in the final game of the regular season. If Hurts is healthy and ready to go, we know he's capable of putting together a 30-point effort, which he did against New York in their first meeting in Week 15. The dynamic dual-threat quarterback had 294 yards of total offense and three total touchdowns for 30.4 DraftKings points. The Giants' defense allowed 16.6 DraftKings points to QBs during the regular season. However, we believe Hurts can score at least 20-25 DK points if he's effectively running the ball.

FLEX RB Saquon Barkley, Giants ($11,200)

Barkley had 109 yards of total offense and two rushing touchdowns on 14 touches (27.3 DraftKings points) last week. The veteran didn't play in Week 18 against the Eagles but saw them in Week 15 when he was held to 6.8 DraftKings points (48 total yards on 11 touches). If the veteran running back is used effectively in the running and receiving games, Barkley could score double-digit DraftKings points against an Eagles' defense that was middle-of-the-pack against RBs (22.7) during the regular season.

FLEX RB Miles Sanders, Eagles ($7,800)

Sanders was terrific during the regular season, running for a career-high 1,269 yards and 11 touchdowns. The veteran running back also averaged 13.4 DraftKings points, making him one of the best RBs in NFL DFS this season. Sanders ended the regular season scoring 10 or fewer DK points in four consecutive games (4.85 DraftKings points per game). However, the former Penn State standout can have a big outing against a Giants' defense that was middle-of-the-pack against RBs this season (23.0) and allowed 144.2 rushing yards per game. In the Eagles' first matchup in Week 15 against the Giants, Sanders produced 31.5 DraftKings points (144 yards and two rushing touchdowns on 17 carries). If Sanders can score at least 15 DK points on Saturday night, DFS players will get tremendous value at a $7,800 salary.

FLEX WR Richie James Jr., Giants ($5,200)

James Jr. had a quiet performance last week against the Vikings, recording four receptions (six targets) for 31 yards. However, if he receives the same number of targets against the Eagles on Saturday night, James should be due for a better performance. He had one of his best games this season against the Eagles in Week 15, posting seven receptions (nine targets) for 61 yards and a touchdown. The Eagles only allowed 30.8 DraftKings points to WRs this season (seventh fewest in the NFL), so James will have a tough time repeating his Week 15 showing, but we know the ceiling is fairly high despite a relative bargain price.

FLEX RB Boston Scott, Eagles ($4,600)

For our last pick, we will take a chance on the veteran running back, who always seems to score a touchdown against the Giants. This season, Scott has scored two rushing touchdowns and averaged 11 DK points per game in two games against the Giants. If you are putting the veteran in your Showdown lineup, you hope he can score a touchdown -- something he's done 10 times in eight career games against the Giants. We know the Giants struggled to stop the run during the season, and that is something the Eagles can take advantage of on Saturday night.
