As the fantasy football playoffs roll on, getting stable production out of your wide receivers is essential. Your studs are usually going to show out, but a big game from your WR3/flex can be the difference between keeping your season alive and waiting to make amends during next year’s draft. Our Week 16 fantasy WR rankings for standard leagues are here to help keep you in the championship hunt, detailing this week’s crop of sleepers, streamers, and stayaways.
We mostly lucked out on the injury front last week, as only Tyler Lockett (finger) exited early. Courtland Sutton (hamstring), Brandin Cooks (calf), Nico Collins (foot), Treylon Burks (concussion), and Chase Claypool (knee) all missed last week, and we’ll get a better feel for their Week 16 statuses in the coming days. We're not overly optimistic about any other than Burks, but you can't take anything for granted this late in the season.
For those searching for streamers, we highlighted a bevy of viable streaming options with favorable matchups in last week’s waiver-wire watchlist, including DJ Chark and Kalif Raymond (@ Panthers in Week 16), Corey Davis and Elijah Moore (vs. Jaguars), Demarcus Robinson and DeSean Jackson (vs. Falcons), Hunter Renfrow and Mack Hollins (@ Steelers), Richie James and Isaiah Hodgins (@ Vikings), Chris Moore (@ Titans), Marquise Goodwin (@ Chiefs), and Terrace Marshall (vs. Lions).
WEEK 16 PPR RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers
Of those wideouts, our favorite options are Moore, Chark, Marshall, and Hollins. Moore has turned into a target hog, garnering 20 looks in the past two weeks. With the Texans once again pegged as road underdogs, a negative game script likely results in another high-target day for Moore if even just one of Cooks or Collins is out. Chark couldn’t muster much when matched up against Sauce Gardner, but a better matchup this week figures to yield better results. Marshall averaged 17 yards per target last week, and an enticing matchup against the Lions could result in a solid fantasy showing. The same goes for Hollins, who consistently logs a high snap and target share.
WEEK 16 STANDARD RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers
As always, there’s a handful of relatively highly owned wideouts of the right side of the start ‘em, sit ‘em fence due to favorable matchups. In shallower leagues, Christian Watson and Allen Lazard (@ Dolphins), D.J. Moore (vs. Lions), Diontae Johnson and George Pickens (vs. Raiders), Drake London (@ Ravens), and Darius Slayton (@ Vikings) should be in more starting lineups than on benches.
WEEK 16 DFS: Best values | Best stacks
On the other side of the start ‘em, sit ‘em fence, Terry McLaurin (@ 49ers), Zay Jones and Christian Kirk (@ Jets), and Marquise Brown (vs. Buccaneers) draw tough matchups against some of the better pass defenses in the league. Given their respective target shares, it's unlikely you'll want to leave them on your bench in deep leagues, but you might have better options in shallow leagues.
WEEK 16 DFS LINEUPS: DraftKings | FanDuel
Going a bit deeper, leaving JuJu Smith-Schuster (vs. Seahawks), Adam Thielen (vs. Giants), Jakobi Meyers (vs. Bengals), Tyler Boyd (@ Patriots), Michael Gallup (vs. Eagles), and Joshua Palmer (@ Colts) on your bench isn’t the worst idea given their matchups. All have upside, as we've seen throughout the year, but they have lower floors and ceilings than usual this week.
WEEK 16 FANTASY PICKS: Sleepers | Busts | Start 'em, sit 'em
Note: We'll be updating these WR rankings as needed throughout the week, so check back for the latest changes.
