Fantasy WR PPR Rankings Week 12: Who to start, sit at wide receiver in fantasy football image

We're entering the home stretch of the fantasy football regular season, as there's little room for error if you're trying to secure a playoff spot or boost your points for a better place in the standings. Our Week 12 fantasy WR PPR rankings are here to help you make those tough start 'em, sit 'em calls in a week with zero teams on bye.

We're hoping to welcome Marquise Brown (foot) and Ja'Marr Chase (hip) back into the WR rankings after the star wideouts missed the past several games. We're also keeping a close eye on the statuses of JuJu Smith-Schuster (concussion), Romeo Doubs (ankle), Jerry Jeudy (ankle), and Wan'Dale Robinson (knee) to see if any of those pass-catchers suit up in Week 12.

With three games being played on Turkey Day, some start 'em, sit 'em calls get rushed, as a fair amount of fantasy-relevant wideouts suit up on Thanksgiving. However, you shouldn't be tempted to start a WR just because he's playing early in the week. Take a more calculated approach and start the wideouts you think have the best opportunities for targets and production. It's fun to watch your players go in big games but not at the expense of better options.

WEEK 12 PPR RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

Some of those "better options" might be sitting on your bench. Favorable matchups for Drake London (@ Commanders in Week 12), Curtis Samuel (vs. Falcons), Allen Robinson II (@ Chiefs), and Tyler Boyd (@ Titans) have them looking like potential starts depending on the size of your leagues. London is obviously a worry in PPR leagues, but he's still on the happy side of the start 'em, sit 'em bubble.

WEEK 12 STANDARD RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

Going deeper, there are plenty of potential waiver-wire streamers, including Alec Pierce and Parris Campbell (vs. Steelers), Van Jefferson (@ Chiefs in Week 12), Jahan Dotson (vs. Falcons), Nico Collins (@ Dolphins), Zay Jones and Marvin Jones Jr. (vs. Ravens), Isaiah McKenzie (@ Lions), Demarcus Robinson (@ Jaguars), and Marquez Valdes-Scantling (vs. Rams). We definitely worry about the PPR floors of guys like Dotson, McKenzie, and Marvin Jones, but these players all have highly favorable matchups. Campbell, Zay Jones, Collins, and Robinson are your safest bets in PPR leagues.

If you're a really deep league, you could even try Olamide Zaccheaus and Damiere Byrd (@ Commanders), DeVante Parker and Tyquan Thornton (@ Vikings), and Chris Moore (@ Dolphins), but chances are you won't need to dumpster dive for complete boom-or-bust lotto tickets like that, especially in PPR formats.

DeVonta Smith (vs. Packers), Darnell Mooney (@ Jets), D.J. Moore (vs. Broncos), Adam Thielen (vs. Patriots), George Pickens and Diontae Johnson (@ Colts), Allen Lazard and Christian Watson (@ Eagles), and Donovan Peoples-Jones (vs. Buccaneers) are all more worrisome than usual this week. Most have solid floors in PPR (especially Johnson and DPJ), but tough matchups have them all on start-or-sit bubbles. Mooney, D.J. Moore, Watson, and Thielen are especially low-floor receivers this week.

Overall, you shouldn't have a problem finding solid options for your lineup. You might have too many options, and if that's the case, make your lineup decisions based on whether you think you need big production days or "just" a solid baseline of points. Play the matchups and take chances when appropriate, but take the points when you're a heavy favorite.

Note: We'll be updating these WR PPR rankings as needed throughout the week, so check back for the latest changes.
