There aren't a lot of running backs that are truly "questionable" for games ahead of Week 5. Of course, that's partially because players like Christian McCaffrey, Saquon Barkley, Nick Chubb, and Austin Ekeler are all out longer-term, but it also has to do with other players like Phillip Lindsay practicing in full to confirm they are returning to lineups. That said, Raheem Mostert and Zack Moss still are iffy for this Sunday, so their fantasy owners are going to want to know the latest about their injuries to make sure they make the proper start 'em, sit 'em calls or find potential replacements at the position.

Is Raheem Mostert playing Week 5?
UPDATE 2: Mostert was officially listed as "questionable" and will be a game-time decision, but it's believed he will play this week against the Dolphins.
UPDATE: Mostert practiced on Thursday and looks on track to play this week.
Per the 49ers' practice report, Mostert (knee) was able to practice in a limited capacity on Wednesday. That's a good start to the week for him and if he continues to practice or improves to full participation, that should put him on track to face the Dolphins in Week 5.
If Mostert plays, he will be a high-end RB2 against a Dolphins team that allows 24.6 fantasy points per game to RBs. If Mostert can't play, Jerick McKinnon would lead the backfield again as a lower-end RB2 with PPR upside. He's a flex even if Mostert does play since Kyle Shanahan likes to rotate his running backs. Meanwhile, Jeff Wilson Jr. would only have relevance as a low-end flex play if Mostert is out.

Is Zack Moss playing in Week 5?
UPDATE: Moss got in another limited practice on Thursday.
Moss (toe) practiced on a limited basis all last week before being declared out as a game-time decision. According to the team's practice report, Moss was once again limited to start the week on Wednesday. If he continues in that fashion once again, he should be viewed as a game-time decision for the Bills' game against the Titans.
If Moss can't go again, that will mean that Devin Singletary will handle a bulk of the workload once again and be a true RB2 for fantasy purposes. He may get touchdowns vultured from him by Josh Allen and T.J. Yeldon, but he will still be a big yardage threat. If Moss can start, both he and Singeltary will be flex plays, as Moss will be the TD threat and Singletary the yardage threat.
Of course, it's also worth noting that Moss' game against the Titans could be in jeopardy, as the Titans are still dealing with the COVID outbreak that caused the league to postpone their game against the Steelers last week. It's unclear what the league may do with this contest, as the Bills play on Thursday night next week, so if you have anyone set to play in this game, keep an eye on it.
