WEEK 7 FANTASY PICKS: Sleepers | Busts | Start 'em, sit 'em

Is Tyler Lockett playing Week 7?

UPDATE: ESPN's Adam Schefter reported late Saturday night that Lockett is expected to play against the Chargers.

UPDATE 2: Lockett is officially ACTIVE.

Lockett (hamstring) is officially listed as "questionable" ahead of the Seahawks' Week 7 road matchup against the Chargers, according to the team's official injury report. Lockett failed to participate in practice this week, and while the veteran wideout can still suit up without logging practice time, it's certainly not the best sign regarding his Week 7 prospects.

Lockett has avoided major injuries throughout his eight-year career, continuing to be one of the more durable WRs in the game. He remains a game-time decision entering Sunday and is truly up in the air. If Lockett's unable to go, fellow WR D'Wayne Eskridge figures to see a boost in his snap share and opportunity, but he would not be a great play in fantasy leagues. DK Metcalf and Seattle's TEs would likely see the biggest bumps in value.

Is Keenan Allen playing Week 7?

UPDATE: ESPN's Adam Schefter reported late Saturday night that a final decision on Allen's availability will be made after pre-game warmups, but he noted that L.A.'s Week 8 bye could factor into whether he plays or rests another two weeks.

UPDATE 2: Allen is officially ACTIVE.

Allen (hamstring) is trending toward making his first start since Week 1 after being listed as "questionable" on the Chargers' final injury report of the week.

Allen practiced all week on a limited basis, but as a 10-year veteran, that's good enough for him to return to game action. In his lone game of 2022, Allen secured four catches for 66 yards prior to pulling up with a hamstring injury. Allen has a real chance to put up solid numbers in his first game back, drawing a favorable matchup against an exploitable Seahawks defense. Additionally, the Chargers' leading receiver from a week ago, Josh Palmer (nine receptions, 57 yards) has been ruled out with a concussion, opening up more targets to come Allen's way. If Allen is a surprise scratch, DeAndre Carter would see a big bump in value and be worth a flex spot.

Is Rashod Bateman playing Week 7?

UPDATE: NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported Sunday morning that there's "optimism" that Bateman will play on Sunday against Cleveland.

UPDATE 2: Bateman is officially ACTIVE.

Bateman (foot) carries a "questionable" tag entering the Ravens' Week 7 matchup against the Browns, according to the team's official injury report.

Bateman has missed the Ravens' past two matchups, failing to participate in practice in the days leading up to Baltimore's Week 5 and 6 games. The fact he was able to practice all week is a good sign of his Week 7 prospects. If Bateman were to be ruled out for a third-straight week, Devin Duvernay would get a bump in our rankings and be worth a WR3/flex spot.

Is Jahan Dotson playing Week 7?

UPDATE: Dotson has been officially ruled OUT for Sunday's game against Green Bay.

Dotson (hamstring) is officially listed as "questionable" ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Packers.

It's a bit surprising to see Dotson only listed as "questionable" considering he was forced to leave practice on Thursday. Washington's taking a more conservative approach to Dotson's injury, and there's a real chance he doesn't end up playing this week. Fellow WR Dyami Brown (groin) has already been ruled out, and with backup QB Taylor Heinicke getting the start with Carson Wentz (finger) injured, things aren't looking too good for the Commanders' offense. All this could result in high-target games for Terry McLaurin and Curtis Samuel.

Is Hunter Renfrow playing Week 7?

UPDATE: NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported Sunday morning that Renfrow is expected to play against Houston.

UPDATE 2: Renfrow is officially ACTIVE.

Renfrow (hip) landed on the Raiders' final injury report of the week and is officially listed as "questionable" entering Week 7. Renfrow missed practice on Thursday but returned on Friday in a limited fashion, boosting his chances of suiting up this Sunday against the Texans.

Renfrow hasn't been nearly as productive as last season, averaging just 7.5 PPR fantasy points per game over three games. With that being said, he looks to be in line for a solid showing and high-target game with TE Darren Waller (hamstring) ruled out.
