With Sunday's kickoff quickly approaching, fantasy football owners are doing their final checks of the Week 17 injury report and making their last-minute start 'em, sit 'em decisions. Veteran tight ends Tyler Higbee (elbow) and Hunter Henry (knee) are the key TEs on this week's injury report, but all signs point to them playing on Sunday.

Below, we'll give you the latest news on these tight ends and break down how their injuries could potentially affect the Week 17 fantasy landscape.

Is Tyler Higbee playing Week 17?

UPDATE: ESPN's Adam Schefter reported late Saturday night that Higbee will play against the Chargers.

UPDATE 2: Higbee is officially ACTIVE.

Higbee (elbow) was officially listed as "questionable" on the Rams' final injury report ahead of Sunday's game against the Chargers. Rams head coach Sean McVay said on Friday that Higbee's MRI came back favorably and believes he'll play, according to Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic.

If Higbee is ready to go on Sunday, fantasy owners should start the vet tight end against a Chargers' defense that's ranked middle-of-the-pack against TEs this season. Last week against the Broncos, Higbee had his best game of the season, catching nine passes (11 targets) for 94 yards and two touchdowns. He should remain one of Baker Mayfield's top receiving threats on Sunday as the Rams try to finish up the season on a good note.

Is Hunter Henry playing Week 17?

UPDATE: ESPN's Dan Graziano reported Saturday night that Henry will be "OK" to play against Miami.

UPDATE 2: Henry is officially ACTIVE.

Henry (knee) was officially listed as "questionable" for Sunday's game against the Dolphins. The veteran tight end was a limited participant in practice this week.

Henry's production has been up and down this season, but he has a chance to make a statement against the Dolphins on Sunday. This season, Miami's defense has struggled against TEs, allowing the fourth-most fantasy points to the position. When these two teams played each other in the regular season opener, Henry had two receptions (three targets) for 20 yards, but with Jonnu Smith (concussion) out, Henry should see more targets this week, putting him squarely on the TE1 bubble.
