Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston are two big-name QBs who haven't been fantasy football factors this year for various reasons. Heading into Week 8, both are still affected by injuries, but whether they're playing could have a big effect on fantasy QB rankings and start 'em, sit 'em decisions.

Russell Wilson injury update, Week 8 fantasy outlook
Broncos head coach Nathaniel Hackett told reporters on Sunday that Wilson (hamstring) is "trending in that direction" of playing in Week 8 against the Jaguars, according to beat writer Mike Klis. Hackett added that the short week contributed to Wilson missing Sunday's game against the Jets.
It would be somewhat surprising to see Wilson play this week in London after NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported that the veteran quarterback is dealing with a partially torn hamstring (Grade 2 strain), which is usually a multiple-week injury. The Broncos could opt to hold Wilson out this week, as they have a bye in Week 9, giving him a full three weeks to heal. If Wilson is ruled out, Brett Rypien will be starting for the second consecutive week. He has little fantasy value outside of two-QB/superflex legs, and his presence further hurts the values of Courtland Sutton and Jerry Jeudy.

Jameis Winston injury update, Week 8 fantasy outlook
Saints head coach Dennis Allen did not say on Monday if Andy Dalton or Winston (back) would start in Week 8 against the Raiders.

Even though Allen hasn't made a decision yet for Week 8, it seems as if Winston could be in line for the start. The veteran quarterback was active last week after missing four games with back and ankle injuries. Dalton struggled in the Saints' last game against the Cardinals, throwing three interceptions, two of which were returned for touchdowns. If Winston were to start, it would make him one of the better streaming options, especially if the Saints get back Michael Thomas (toe) and Jarvis Landry (ankle). The Raiders allow the most fantasy points/game to QBs, so Dalton is also a decent streamer candidate if he starts.
