Dak Prescott injury update, Week 7 fantasy outlook
Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy told reporters Monday that Prescott (thumb) is expected to return to practice on Wednesday, according to beat writer Mike Gehlken.
This latest news coincides with what Prescott said on Sunday night that he plans to play in Week 7 against the Lions. The veteran quarterback has missed the past five games with a hand injury, which he suffered in Week 1 against the Buccaneers. The Lions' defense has not been great this season, allowing 261 passing yards per game and the second-most fantasy points per game to QBs (22.5). Even though this will be Prescott's first game back, he sits as a must-start given the matchup and the quartet of QB1s on bye (Josh Allen, Jalen Hurst, Kirk Cousins, Matthew Stafford).

Tua Tagovailoa injury update, Week 7 fantasy outlook
On Monday Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel named Tagovailoa (concussion) the starter for Sunday night's game against the Steelers, according to beat writer Joe Schad. Tagovailoa cleared the league's concussion protocol over the weekend, setting up his return for this weekend.
The Dolphins' offense has struggled without Tua, as Teddy Bridgewater and Skylar Thompson have been average at best under center. The Steelers' defense played well last week but still allow the fourth-most fantasy points per game to QBs this season. Like Prescott, Tagovailoa is an easy QB1 this week and should post big numbers with Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle at his side.

Carson Wentz injury update, Week 7 fantasy outlook
Wentz suffered a fractured finger in Week 6 against the Bears and could be out for four-to-six weeks, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
With Wentz likely out for the next month or so, it pushes Taylor Heinicke into the starting spot for this week's game against the Packers. The Packers' pass defense has been relatively good this season despite allowing QBs to complete 70.9 percent of their passes (most in the NFL). However, they've only given up four passing touchdowns and the fifth-fewest fantasy points per game to QBs this season. Heinicke should not be on the radar to start this week in fantasy even though he knows this offense and has a good group of wide receivers.
