Plenty of key wide receivers and tight ends have already been ruled "out" for Week 5 (Michael Thomas, Keenan Allen, Rashod Bateman, Jahan Dotson, Treylon Burks, Kyle Pitts, Dawson Knox), and several more, including Tyreek Hill, CeeDee Lamb, Jaylen Waddle, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Julio Jones, Isaiah McKenzie, and Logan Thomas, are officially "questionable." Knowing the latest injury updates will be crucial ahead of your fantasy start 'em, sit 'em decisions.

Below, we'll give you the latest news on these pass catchers and break down how their injuries could potentially affect the Week 5 fantasy landscape.

WEEK 5 FANTASY PICKS: Sleepers | Busts | Start 'em, sit 'em

Is CeeDee Lamb playing Week 5?

UPDATE: Lamb is expected to play, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

UPDATE 2: Lamb is officially ACTIVE.

Lamb (groin) was officially listed as "questionable" for Sunday's late-afternoon matchup against the Rams. The young wide receiver did not practice on Thursday but was a limited participant on Friday. However, he is still reportedly on track to be ready for Sunday's late-afternoon kickoff.

Lamb underwent an MRI, and everything reportedly checked out fine. If he's able to play and go through warm-ups without any issues, Lamb should be treated as a WR1. Los Angeles has struggled to cover wideout this season, allowing six touchdowns and 39.35 fantasy points per game to the position. Even though Lamb will be defended by Jalen Ramsey, it will not stop Cooper Rush from getting him involved in the offense. However, if Lamb does not play, Michael Gallup and Noah Brown move up to WR2/flex territory.

Is Tyreek Hill playing Week 5?

UPDATE: Hill is expected to play, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

UPDATE 2: Hill is officially ACTIVE.

Hill (quad) was among the eight Dolphins players officially listed as "questionable" ahead of Sunday's game against the Jets. Head coach Mike McDaniel said on Friday that he is "hopeful" the star wide receiver will play, according to NFL Network's Cameron Wolfe.

Hill reportedly came down with the injury on Thursday, which is not great with only a couple of days until game day. The star wide receiver was a limited participant on Thursday and Friday, but if he cannot go, his targets will shift to Jaylen Waddle. However, Waddle (groin) is also listed as "questionable" for this weekend's contest. It seems as if the second-year receiver has a better chance to play after practicing over the past two days. Cedrick Wilson would be next in line for targets, and he'd have legit flex value in this favorable matchup.

Is Amon-Ra St. Brown playing Week 5?

UPDATE: St. Brown will be a true game-time decision, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

UPDATE 2: St. Brown is officially ACTIVE.

St. Brown (ankle) was among the Lions players officially listed as "questionable" for Sunday's road game against the Patriots. He did not play in last week's game against the Seahawks due to the injury.

The second-year receiver did not practice on Wednesday and Thursday but was a limited participant on Friday. However, it's looking like Brown may not play for the second-straight week, especially with Detroit having a bye week coming up in Week 5. The Lions will also be without DJ Chark (ankle). Detroit should have Josh Reynolds (ankle), who is listed as "questionable" but likely to play. If St. Brown does play, he could be on a snap count, but he's still worth a spot as at least a flex. If St. Brown is out, Reynolds would be a solid flex option after having seven receptions (eight targets) for 81 yards and a touchdown last week against Seattle.

Is Jaylen Waddle playing Week 5?

UPDATE: Waddle is expected to play, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

UPDATE 2: Waddle is officially ACTIVE.

Waddle (groin) was officially listed as "questionable" ahead of Sunday's early-afternoon game against the Jets.

Unlike Hill, it seems likely that the Dolphins will have Waddle on the field when they play the Jets. The 23-year-old receiver dealt with this injury last week and had two receptions (five targets) for 39 yards. He did not practice on Wednesday but was able to get in two limited practices to wrap up the week. If Waddle is ready to go and Hill can't play, the former Alabama standout should be locked in as WR1, despite Teddy Bridgewater being at quarterback. Cedrick Wilson could be a sleeper at the flex spot in PPR leagues after returning from rib and toe injuries that kept him out last week.

Is Jakobi Meyers playing Week 5?

UPDATE: Meyers is expected to play tomorrow against the Lions after missing the past two games with a knee injury, according to beat writer Andrew Callahan.

UPDATE 2: Meyers is officially ACTIVE.

Meyers was officially listed as "questionable" for the second-straight week ahead of the Patriots' Week 5 matchup against the can

The 25-year-old receiver was limited in practice throughout this week and has not played since Week 2 against the Steelers. If Meyers is able to play on Sunday, it's hard to know what to expect with rookie QB Bailey Zappe getting the start for New England. The Lions' defense is allowing the seventh-most fantasy points to wide receivers this season (33.35), making this a solid matchup for Meyers. However, if he can't go, it's hard to confidently trust any other wide receiver on the Patriots' roster to produce. DeVante Parker would be the best bet.

Is Julio Jones playing Week 5?

UPDATE: Jones will be a game-time decision after testing out his knee in pregame warmups, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

UPDATE 2: Jones is officially OUT.

Jones (knee) is once again officially listed as "questionable" ahead of the Buccaneers' Week 5 matchup against the Falcons.

The veteran receiver was limited in practice this week after playing last week against the Chiefs. With that in mind, we should expect to see Jones playing on Sunday afternoon against his former squad. The 33-year-old wideout is, at best, a flex option in deeper leagues despite the favorable matchup.

Is Isaiah McKenzie playing Week 5?

UPDATE: McKenzie is officially OUT.

McKenzie (concussion) was officially listed as "questionable" for the Bills' matchup against the Steelers on Sunday afternoon.

The 27-year-old receiver did not practice on Wednesday but was a limited participant on Thursday and Friday. Bills head coach Sean McDermott told reporters on Fridacanenzie was still going through the concussion protocol. If McKenzie is able to suit up on Sunday, he'll have WR3/flex upside in a favorable matchup. If he's out, Khalil Shakir is a sneaky flex play who could soak up a decent amount of targets with Jamison Crowder (ankle) and TE Dawson Knox (foot, hamstring) also out.

Is Logan Thomas playing Week 5?

UPDATE: Thomas is officially OUT.

Thomas (calf) was officially listed as "questionable" for Sunday's game against the Titans.

The veteran tight end was listed on the Commanders' injury report on Thursday, which is not great news for an offense that will also be without rookie wide receiver Jahan Dotson (hamstring). Thomas will likely be a game-time decision, which means fantasy owners should look elsewhere for a streamer at tight end. Some of the other widely-available options that could be viable are Tyler Conklin (vs. Dolphins), Hunter Henry (vs. Lions), and Evan Engram (vs. Texans).
