Aaron Jones injury update, Week 10 fantasy outlook

After exiting Sunday's game in the third quarter, Jones (ankle) was seen with a noticeable limp and grimace in the postgame, according to beat writer Matt Schneidman. He told reporters that his X-rays came back negative, according to ESPN's Rob Demovsky, and later added that his "X-rays were fine, but they decided to hold me out."

Jones should be viewed as "questionable" going into Week 10 against the Cowboys, but he has a decent chance of suiting up. If Jones is not able to practice this week, owners should prepare to start AJ Dillon as an RB2. The former Boston College standout does not possess the same pass-catching ability that Jones has, but he's a strong runner who can grind out yards even in tough matchups.

Josh Allen injury update, Week 10 fantasy outlook

UPDATE: Allen is likely to be limited this week because of his elbow injury, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Rapoport adds that Allen is still undergoing tests and it's considered a situation to monitor.

Allen told reporters on Sunday that he was feeling "slight pain" in his right elbow after being sacked to end the game against the Jets, according to ProFootballTalk's Josh Alper. However, the MVP candidate added that he will "work through it" as the Bills prepare for their Week 10 matchup against the Vikings.

For now, we're assuming Allen will be fine, but if he is out for Week 10, fantasy owners in shallow leagues could pivot to Andy Dalton (@ Steelers), Jimmy Garoppolo (@ Chargers), and Marcus Mariota (@ Panthers), all of whom are widely available on waiver wires. In deep leagues, you might have to consider Baker Mayfield (vs. Falcons), Jacoby Brissett (@ Dolphins), or even Sam Ehlinger (@ Raiders). Either way, Stefon Diggs and Gabriel Davis will remain must-starts with Case Keenum under center, but they obviously lose some value.

Romeo Doubs injury update, Week 10 fantasy outlook

UPDATE: The rookie receiver suffered a high-ankle sprain in Sunday's game, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Rapoport adds that high-ankle sprains are 4-6 week injuries, but Doubs will undergo further testing to determine the timeframe.

Doubs (ankle) was seen with a walking boot on his right foot and crutches after Sunday's loss to the Lions, according to ESPN's Rob Demovsky. The rookie suffered the ankle injury on the Packers' first offensive drive of the game.

The Packers were hit by the injury bug twice at wide receiver, as they lost Christian Watson to a concussion for the second consecutive week. If Doubs is out next week, the Packers would be down to Allen Lazard, Sammy Watkins, and Samori Toure at wide receiver. Lazard is already highly owned, but Toure might be worth a look as a deep sleeper for Week 10. He's made a couple of big receptions lately, and the Packers could be forced to throw a lot to keep up with Dallas.
