Fantasy Football WR Rankings Week 10: Who to start, best sleepers at wide receiver image

Coinciding with CJ Stroud’s record-setting performance, two of his wide receivers, Tank Dell and Noah Brown, posted elite WR1 fantasy numbers last week. A week after some of the league's most prominent wide receivers sat atop the fantasy scoring leaderboard, last week's crop of scoring leaders looks vastly different, which should remind all fantasy owners about the importance of sleepers and bye-week fill-ins. Fortunately, there are plenty to be found in our Week 10 fantasy WR rankings for standard leagues. As is the case in the week-to-week league that is the NFL, the routine variance at wide receiver is inevitable. We're here to help sort through the madness and pinpoint how to best round out your roster in fantasy's deepest position.

With a crippling set of byes and some key injuries to deep-league receivers, let's break down what you can expect at WR in Week 10.

Which WRs are on bye in Week 10?

With the Eagles, Chiefs, Dolphins, and Rams idle, fantasy owners won’t be able to start several top-end wide receivers, including Tyreek Hill, A.J. Brown, Cooper Kupp, Jaylen Waddle, DeVonta Smith, and Puka Nacua. The emerging Rashee Rice is also off the board.

WEEK 10 STANDARD RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

Almost as bad, the Eagles and Dolphins were both in the top 12 in fantasy points per game (FPPG) allowed to WRs, so losing them means fewer potential sleepers.

Who are the best fantasy WRs in Week 10?

Considering last week's overall WR1 and 2, Tyreek Hill and A.J. Brown are on bye, Stefon Diggs (vs. Broncos in Week 10) slots in as this week’s No. 1 fantasy wideout. While they've improved of late, the Broncos remain one of the weakest coverage units, putting Diggs in prime position for a big fantasy day. Ja’Marr Chase (vs. Texans) has a tougher matchup, but he could also easily finish as the overall WR1 given his elite target share numbers the past few weeksCeeDee Lamb (vs. Giants) has gone over 115 yards in three straight games and looks to maintain his high level of play against a New York defense that had trouble getting off the field in Week 9. Amon-Ra St. Brown (@ Chargers) is as consistent as it gets, likely continuing to post WR1 numbers in a potential shootout in Los Angeles. Mike Evans (vs. Titans) also enters the top-five for Week 10, as the future Hall of Famer should get his against a weak Titans pass defense.Keenan Allen (vs. Lions), Chris Olave (@ Vikings), Garrett Wilson (@ Raiders), and Brandon Aiyuk (@ Jaguars), and DK Metcalf (vs. Commanders) round out our top 10 for Week 10.

WEEK 10 FANTASY ADVICE:
Sleepers | Busts | Projections | Start 'em, sit 'em

Who are the best fantasy WR sleepers, waiver pickups in Week 10?

Our Week 10 waivers piece recommended fantasy owners consider picking up Tank Dell and Noah Brown (@ Bengals) and Demario Douglas, and JuJu Smith-Schuster (vs. Colts).Dell had the best fantasy game of his rookie season, hauling in six-of-11 targets for 114 yards and two TDs, including the game-winning reception with six seconds remaining. Brown was just as effective, securing all six of his targets for 153 yards and a touchdown. With veteran WR Robert Woods (foot) likely out another week, Dell and Brown have plenty of starting appeal and 12-team leagues.Douglas and Smith-Schuster filled in nicely for the injured DeVante Parker (concussion) and Kendrick Bourne (knee). While both wide receivers are more appealing in PPR formats, both garner flex appeal in standard formats in Sunday’s favorable matchup against the Colts.KhaDarel Hodge (@ Cardinals) operated as the Falcons WR1 in Week 9 with Drake London (groin) missing time. If London isn’t able to suit in week 10, Hodge has some flex appeal, as well.

Who are the biggest potential WR busts in Week 10?

Davante Adams (@ Jets) owners, we understand your frustrations. He hasn’t performed remotely close to the level we’ve gotten accustomed to, and there’s a chance that carries over into Sunday night's matchup against the Jets. By no means are we advocating to bench Adams, but another underwhelming effort could be in store. Not many fantasy owners in 12-team leagues are starting Giants' wide receivers, especially with Tommy DeVito likely under center this week. A nightmare matchup against Cowboys defense that entered Week 9 allowing the second-fewest FPPG to WRs awaits, so don't even think about using Wan’Dale Robinson, Darius Slayton, or Jalin Hyatt. With the Ravens receiving game largely unpredictable on a weekly basis, it could be hard to trust Zay Flowers and Odell Beckham against an elite Browns stop unit. You're still probably going to start Flowers, but it's wise to temper your expectations, especially after his Week 9 dud.

What are the biggest WR injuries in Week 10?

Leading into Week 9, Drake London (groin), Josh Palmer (knee), Robert Woods (foot), DeVante Parker (concussion), and Curtis Samuel (foot) were all ruled out before kickoff. With Palmer landing on injury reserve, we know he won’t be available for Week 10, and we don’t expect Woods to suit up, either. The statuses of London, Parker, and Samuel are unclear, so we'll be monitoring them closely throughout the week.As for new injuries that occurred in-game, Treylon Burks (concussion) Christian Watson (chest, head) Josh Downs (knee), and K.J. Osborn (concussion) were the most notable WRs to exit early.

With it being increasingly challenging to clear the league's concussion protocol, we’re not sure we’ll see Burks and Osborn in Week 10, but it’s too early to speculate on Down's and Watson's statuses.

It's unlikely Tee Higgins (hamstring) suits up against Houston on Sunday, likely leading to solid fantasy days from Chase and Tyler Boyd.

Additionally, Justin Jefferson (hamstring) is eligible to return from injured reserve, but that doesn't mean he's a sure-thing to play. However, there is a good chance Deebo Samuel (shoulder) returns to play in Jacksonville.

As usual, we'll update these standard WR rankings throughout the week, so check back for the latest player movement and analysis.
