Fantasy Football WR PPR Rankings Week 7: Who to start, best sleepers at wide receiver image

We're nearing the halfway point of the fantasy football regular season, which means from here on out, you need to be on your "A" game. As we approach the fantasy playoffs, the margin for error slims, which means we must overcome all obstacles -- from injuries to bye weeks. Our Week 7 fantasy WR PPR rankings can help ease your start 'em, sit 'em concerns, highlighting the wide receivers in position for high usage days in a critical week of the season.

Byes will definitely be the theme of this week, as six teams and numerous top receivers are off. Hopefully, you're not getting hit too hard at the position, but even if you are, there are worthwhile replacements, even if they might be a little riskier than you'd like.

Let's get to it and break down our rankings ahead of one of fantasy's most challenging weeks of the season.

Which WRs are on bye in Week 7?

With six teams idle in Week 7 (Bengals, Panthers, Cowboys, Texans, Titans, Jets), a decent chunk of the WR pool is gone. Unfortunately, fantasy owners with Ja'Marr Chase, CeeDee Lamb, Adam Thielen, Garrett Wilson, Tee Higgins, DeAndre Hopkins, and Nico Collins will have to rely on bench and waiver-wire replacements for the time being.

WEEK 7 PPR RANKINGS:
QBs | RBsTEs | D/STs | Kickers

For those in deeper leagues, you'll need to find replacement options for DJ Chark, Brandin Cooks, Michael Gallup, Tyler Boyd, Robert Woods, and Allen Lazard.

WEEK 7 STANDARD RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

Who are the best fantasy WRs Week 7?

Following his 163-yard, one-touchdown effort, Tyreek Hill (@ Eagles in Week 7) owns the top spot in our Week 7 PPR rankings, drawing an Eagles defense that hasn't been nearly as stout against the pass as last season. Not far behind Hill sits Stefon Diggs (@ Patriots), as Buffalo's WR1 likely continues to feast against a susceptible Patriots coverage unit.

There's a chance Davante Adams (vs. Bears) won't have Jimmy Garoppolo under center. Still, even with backup Brian Hoyer potentially making a spot start, Adams should bounce back after two rough outings and do his thing against a weak Bears' secondary.

We could easily see PPR beasts Cooper Kupp (vs. Steelers), Keenan Allen (@ Chiefs), and Amon Ra-St. Brown finish as the overall WR1 this week, as all three are set-it-and-forget-it studs.

WEEK 7 FANTASY ADVICE:
Sleepers | Busts | Projections | Start 'em, sit 'em

Who are the best fantasy WR sleepers, waiver pickups Week 7?

On the sleeper front, K.J. Osborn (vs. 49ers), Josh Palmer (@ Chiefs), Kendrick Bourne (vs. Bills), Curtis Samuel (@ Giants), and Kadarius Toney (vs. Chargers) could overperform relative to the fantasy projections posted on your fantasy app. These wideouts might not all have the easiest matchups, but they have every opportunity to see sufficient volume.

Going deeper, Rashee Rice (vs. Chargers), Elijah Moore (@ Colts), Jaxon-Smith Njigba (vs. Cardinals), and Josh Downs (vs. Browns) all have standalone flex value in 12-team leagues. Rice is starting to see an increased role within the Chiefs' offense, making him a prime waiver-wire add this week. Moore will hopefully get Deshaun Watson back at QB, adding to his fantasy value in PPR scoring formats.

Smith-Njigba looks to build on his best outing as a pro in Week 6, facing a relatively weak Cardinals defense. Downs doesn't have an easy matchup but should draw plenty of targets as Gardner Minshew's safety blanket.

WEEK 7 DFS:
DK lineup | FD lineup | Best values | Best stacks

Who are the biggest potential WR busts Week 7?

Although he's still logging a high snap share, Jahan Dotson (@ Giants) hasn't produced at the level we expected him to this season. We still have faith that he'll put together some solid fantasy weeks, but until he proves it, we can't advise starting him.

As expected, Josh Reynolds (@ Ravens) took a backseat with Amon-Ra St. Brown back healthy in Week 6. With Jameson Williams' role increasing, Reynolds is a risky flex play against Baltimore.

In shallower formats, it's becoming tough to trust Jerry Jeudy and Courtland Sutton (vs. Packers) on a weekly basis. Sutton lucked out with a garbage-time touchdown in Week 6, but he's way too volatile of a fantasy play for our standards.

In deeper leagues, other risky Week 7 starts include Quentin Johnston (@ Chiefs), Darius Slayton (vs. Commanders), Skyy Moore (vs. Chargers), and TuTu Atwell (vs. Steelers).

What are the biggest WR injuries Week 7?

We lucked out on the injury front in Week 6, as Deebo Samuel (shoulder) and Alec Pierce (shoulder) were the most notable WRs to get banged up during game action. For now, we've omitted both from our initial Week 7 rankings but will be eyeing their squad's injury reports throughout the week to gauge their playing status.

We'll also likely see two WRs, Zay Jones (knee) and Diontae Johnson (hamstring), return to game action this week. Jones (@ Saints) has some standalone fantasy value in 12-team leagues, but if Trevor Lawrence's knee injury is more severe than we expect, Jones should stay on your bench. Additionally, if Johnson (@ Rams) makes for a WR3/flex play in 12-team formats in what's likely his first game since Week 2.

As usual, we'll update these WR PPR rankings throughout the week, so check back for the latest player movement and analysis.
