Fantasy Football WR PPR Rankings Week 10: Who to start, best sleepers at wide receiver image

Raise your hand if you had Tank Dell and Noah Brown finishing as the overall PPR WR1 and WR3 during last Sunday's slate of games. Yeah, we know you didn't see that coming, and neither did we. That's the bittersweet nature of fantasy football. It's fascinating to see overlooked wide receivers shine, but it's even more painful when a particular week's set of breakouts are either on your bench or on the waiver wire. We'll do our best to spot this week's crop of studs and sleepers in our Week 10 fantasy WR PPR rankings.

While it's highly unlikely that a pair of under-the-radar teammates will finish as the overall WR1 and WR3 this week, we know there will be some breakouts given this week's nasty set of byes and nagging injuries.

With all that in mind, let's break this week's WR rankings.

Which WRs are on bye in Week 10?

Four teams are on bye in Week 10 (Eagles, Chiefs, Dolphins, Rams), which means we won't be seeing Tyreek Hill, A.J. Brown, Cooper Kupp, Jaylen Waddle, DeVonta Smith, Puka Nacua. In deeper leagues, that also means no Rashee Rice, Tutu Atwell, Cedrick Wilson, Skyy Moore, and Marquez Valdes-Scantling.

WEEK 10 PPR RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

Further adding insult to injury, it also means we don't get to pick on the Eagles' and Dolphins' porous WR defenses, so we'll have to look elsewhere for potential sleepers.

WEEK 10 STANDARD RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

Who are the best fantasy WRs in Week 10?

With Tyreek Hill and A.J. Brown idle, Stefon Diggs (vs.  Broncos in Week 10) vaults up to this week's PPR WR1. He didn't have a monster game in the Bills' Week 9 loss in Cincinnati, but a player with a 30-plus percent target share is always capable of going ballistic. Ja’Marr Chase (vs. Texans) has a tougher matchup, but he's always in the running to finish as the overall WR1. CeeDee Lamb (vs. Giants) is amid a torrid stretch, going over 115 yards in three straight games. A juicy matchup against a reeling Giants defense could result in his fourth straight 115-plus yard performance. Amon-Ra St. Brown (@ Chargers) should continue to feast in the Lions' high-powered offense in what could be a shootout at SoFi.

We also love the matchups for Keenan Allen (vs. Lions), Brandon Aiyuk (@ Jaguars), Chris Olave (@ Vikings), Mike Evans (vs. Titans), DK Metcalf (vs. Commanders), and Diontae Johnson (vs. Packers), the latter of which finally found the end zone and continues to operate as Pittsburgh's target hog.

WEEK 10 FANTASY ADVICE:
Sleepers | Busts | Projections | Start 'em, sit 'em

Who are the best fantasy WR sleepers, waiver pickups in Week 10?

We don't expect Tank Dell and Noah Brown (@ Bengals) to be one-week wonders. Cincinnati's pass defense is solid, ranking within the top half of the league in fantasy points allowed to WRs, but the pass-happy nature of the Texans' offense could lead to respectable fantasy days from the duo.

Another pair of teammates, Demario Douglas and JuJu Smith-Schuster (vs. Colts), garner flex appeal in PPR formats against an exploitable Colts' pass defense.

In deeper leagues, KhaDarel Hodge (@ Cardinals) and Brandon Powell (vs. Saints) profile as viable injury-related fill-ins after seeing a boost in usage in Week 9.

WEEK 10 DFS: DK lineup | FD lineup | Best values | Best stacks

Who are the biggest potential WR busts in Week 10?

The Jets entered Week 9 allowing the fewest fantasy points per game to WRs, and while that doesn't mean Davante Adams and Jakobi Meyers (@ Jets) are set to implode, we could see both WRs underperform relative to their projections on your fantasy app.

With Tommy DeVito in line to start for the Giants, we're staying as far away from Wan'Dale Robinson (@ Cowboys) as we can. Dallas has allowed the second-fewest fantasy points to WRs, and we don't expect a DeVito-led offense to buck that trend.

Fantasy owners should also steer clear of Zay Flowers and Odell Beckham Jr. (vs. Browns) in a rough matchup against a sound Browns coverage unit.

Other borderline fantasy WRs in tough matchups include Quentin Johnston (vs. Lions), Darnell Mooney (vs. Panthers), and Allen Lazard (@ Raiders).

What are the biggest WR injuries in Week 10?

In Week 9, we saw Treylon Burks (concussion), Christian Watson (chest, head), Josh Downs (knee), and K.J. Osborn (concussion) go down with injuries. That was on top of Drake London (groin), Josh Palmer (knee), Robert Woods (foot), DeVante Parker (concussion), and Curtis Samuel (foot) getting ruled out before kickoff.

We don't think we’ll see Burks and Osborn in Week 10 given how hard it's been for players to clear the league's concussion protocol in a week. It's too early to get a sense of Watson's and Down's statuses, but their early-week practice reports will give us a good indication of their availabilities for Week 10.

Palmer's already been put on injured reserve, so we know he won’t be available for Week 10.  We also don’t expect Woods to suit up, either. London, Parker, and Samuel could be back in time for Week 10, but for now, we've omitted them from our initial PPR rankings.

Additionally, Tee Higgins (hamstring) is unlikely to play on Sunday, putting Chase and Tyler Boyd (vs. Texans) in an advantageous spot to post strong fantasy days.

Justin Jefferson (hamstring) is also eligible to return from injured reserve, but that doesn't mean he'll be back on the field this Sunday. However, we'll most likely see Deebo Samuel (shoulder) in action during the 49ers' road tilt in Jacksonville after his multi-week injury stint.

As usual, we'll update these WR PPR rankings throughout the week, so check back for the latest player movement and analysis.
