Fantasy football Week 3 DFS lineup picks: Best stacks for DraftKings, FanDuel contests image

What's better than getting big passing, rushing, or receiving performances in your Week 3 daily fantasy football lineups on DraftKings and FanDuel? Trying to double or triple up your scoring potential with smart DFS stacks of multiple players or entities from the same team.

The best stacks don't always include the biggest stars, as advised below, but finding lower-rostered, productive gems is another key to winning in DFS.

Let's take a look at the best correlated DFS combinations to consider when trying to maximize points in cash games and take down some big tournaments during Sunday's 1 p.m. ET main slate.

Week 3 DraftKings, FanDuel Picks: Best stacks for daily fantasy football tournaments

Best QB-WR stack

Philadelphia Eagles
Jalen Hurts ($7,300 DK, $8,500 FD)
DeVonta Smith ($6,900 DK, $8,000 FD)

Hurts and Smith had to carry the passing game with no A.J. Brown vs. the Falcons, and that continues against another NFC South foe, the Saints. Smith can benefit by lining up in the slot in what can be a high-scoring, back-and-forth affair, while Hurts should do plenty more damage on the ground to boot.

WEEK 3 FANTASY PPR RANKINGS
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STsKickers

Best QB-TE stack

Las Vegas Raiders
Gardner Minshew ($5,300 DK, $7,200 FD)
Brock Bowers ($5,400 DK, $6,300 FD)

Minshew has been feeling it with the rookie tight end the first two games as Bowers looks like he could be a surprisingly great sequel to Sam LaPorta. He should smash the Panthers' defense who struggled vs. the position both against the Saints and Chargers.

Best RB-Defense Stack

Seattle Seahawks
Zach Charbonnet ($6,000 DK, $6,700 FD)
D/ST ($3,500 DK, $4,600 FD)

The Seahawks should be dominating on the ground against the Dolphins even without Kenneth Walker III as Charbonnet has looked like a fantasy supersub running and receiving. They should also have a positive game script with Tua Tagovailoa headed to IR with his latest concussion, setting up Seattle to tee off on Skylar Thompson.

Best "Onslaught" Stack

San Francisco 49ers
Brock Purdy ($6,000 DK, $7,400 FD)
George Kittle ($5,700 DK, $7,100 FD)

Brandon Aiyuk ($6,200 DK, $6,500 FD)

The 49ers should be leaning on this trio quite a bit in a smash spot for the passing game minus Deebo Samuel and Christian McCaffrey against the Rams. The Cardinals came through with their dynamic trio throwing downfield last week, so let's just follow that up with another fantastic matchup in the NFC West.

Week 3 NFL DFS Picks: Top cash game stacks for DraftKings, FanDuel

Best QB-WR stack

Dallas Cowboys
Dak Prescott ($6,600 DK, $7,800 FD)
CeeDee Lamb ($8,800 DK, $9,300 FD)

Prescott and Lamb should be busy connecting for high volume as the Ravens' secondary has let some things open up in the middle of the field, struggling with go-to guys Rashee Rice and Davante Adams early. Prescott will shake off a rare bad game at home and be ready to duel Lamar Jackson.

Best RB-Defense stack

Cleveland Browns
Jerome Ford ($5,800 DK, $6,500 FD)
D/ST ($3,800 DK, $4,900 FD)

Ford ran well again vs. the Jaguars after cleaning up late against the Cowboys. He'll get more consistent volume in a positive game script at home vs. a Giants run defense that wilted against Aaron Jones and Brian Robinson Jr. the first two weeks.
