We're a week away from being at the midway point of the fantasy football regular season. Yes, you read that right -- we're almost at the midway point of the fantasy season. Time is quickly running out if you're sitting with a subpar record, and with key injuries piling up, byes hitting hard, and certain players continuing to surprise/disappoint, the only way to save your season might be with a well-time trade.  Fortunately, FantasyPros is here to help with tips and trade advice in their Week 7 Stock Watch that includes key players like Marquise Brown and Zack Moss.

Week 7 is the first "byepocalypse" of the season with six teams (Bengals, Panthers, Cowboys, Texans, Titans, and Jets) taking their mandatory PTO. The NFL is throwing a curve ball at us this year with no byes in Week 8, but things pick back up in Week 9. If you need to make a short-term move to patch holes that the waiver wire can't fill, don't hesitate slightly (emphasis on "slightly") losing a trade in order to make due this week. Again, this is only if you're 2-4 or worse and can't afford another loss in your quest to make the playoffs.

Conversely, if you're strong at 5-1 or 6-0, then you should look to be on the other side of those deals. Give up a live body this week for upgrades in the future or depth to cover you in future bye weeks.

Fantasy Trade Advice Week 7: Buy-low trade candidates

By Fantasy Pros staff

Marquise Brown, WR, Cardinals. Don’t look now, but Brown is averaging nearly nine targets per game through the first six weeks, and I’m not expecting that to change in the near future. Brown’s 34 receiving yards against the Rams were his second-lowest in any game this season and lowest since Week 1 against the Commanders. Coming off of a slightly disappointing game, now is the time to go out and float some "buy low" offers for Hollywood. He will remain the focal point of the Cardinals’ passing attack, and much better days are ahead.

Fantasy Trade Advice Week 7: Sell-high trade candidates

Zack Moss, RB, Colts. Moss continued to have a key role for the Colts in Week 6, but predictably, Jonathan Taylor's role also grew. It won’t be long before Taylor resumes his full workload in the Colts backfield, and while there’s a chance Moss gets dealt before the trade deadline to an RB-needy team, I’d bet on him simply remaining the backup to Taylor. He’ll retain minor standalone value and should be treated as a premier handcuff based on what he’s done in 2023. Still, I’m OK with looking to move him now if someone believes in him moving forward, and I can find bench value at the wide receiver position for the rest of the season.
