Fantasy football live rankings Week 10: Latest injury news, updates impacting start-sit decisions today image

After Thursday night's field-goal fest, it's unlikely that most (any?) fantasy football owners are staring at a huge deficit, meaning virtually all owners will be hanging on every play during Sunday's Week 10 action.

The lack of Dolphins, Eagles, Chiefs, and Rams will definitely be felt, especially with several more key players already ruled OUT (Tee Higgins, Dameon Pierce, Nico Collins, Justin Jefferson). Several more potential starters are "questionable" (James Conner, Keaton Mitchell, T.J. Hockenson, Ja'Marr Chase, Curtis Samuel, K.J. Osborn), including two in the early-morning Germany game (Josh Downs, Demario Douglas). It's clearly going to be a long day, but at least the weather is supposed to be pretty nice!

We'll be here to help all morning, reacting to injury news, monitoring the active/inactive lists for any surprises, watching the weather, and providing start 'em, sit 'em advice based on all the latest developments.

Injury updates for NFL Week 10

ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reported late Saturday night that the Bengals are "hopeful" that Ja'Marr Chase (back) will play against Houston, but they won't know for sure until after a pre-game workout. Chase is a must-start if active, but if he's out, it's tough to recommend any Bengals' pass-catchers other than Tyler Boyd, who's already a recommended play because of Tee Higgins' absence.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported late Saturday night that Josh Downs (knee) is expected to play against New England, but he could see reduced snaps. Because of the uncertainty, we wouldn't recommend playing Downs in even deep leagues.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported late Saturday night that Demario Douglas (ankle) is expected to play against Indianapolis. He's a solid WR3/flex in 12-team PPR leagues.

ESPN's Ed Werder reported early Sunday morning that T.J. Hockenson (ribs) is expected to play against New Orleans.

ESPN's Ed Werder reported Sunday morning that K.J. Osborn (concussion) is not expected to play against the Saints. Brandon Powell will have some flex appeal in 12-team leagues.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported Sunday morning that Ja'Marr Chase (back) will play against Houston.

OFFICIAL NOTABLE EARLY ACTIVES: Demario Douglas, Josh Downs, T.J. Hockenson, Keaton Mitchell, Ja'Marr Chase, Trent Williams

OFFICIAL NOTABLE EARLY INACTIVES: Dameon Pierce, Nico Collins, K.J. Osborn, Tee Higgins, Zay Jones, Treylon Burks

Playing time updates for NFL Week 10

With Tee Higgins (hamstring) OUT, Tyler Boyd is a virtual must-start. He doesn't necessarily have a high ceiling, but he should have a solid floor as Cincinnati's No. 2, especially with Ja'Marr Chase less than 100 percent.

James Conner (knee) is expected to return after a four-week absence. Emari Demercado (toe) is OUT, so Keaontay Ingram will share carries with Conner, but we expect the veteran to still see the bulk of the touches and be worth at least a flex spot against Atlanta.

Nico Collins (calf) being OUT should open up opportunities for Tank DellNoah Brown, and the returning Robert Woods. We wouldn't trust Woods at this point, but based on what we've seen from Dell and Brown over the past few weeks, both look like WR3/flexes against the Bengals.

The lack of Justin Jefferson (hamstring) and K.J. Osborn (concussion) should mean big things for Jordan Addison, but don't overlook Brandon Powell, who should function as Minnesota's WR2. He's a decent deep-league flex option, especially in PPR formats.

Weather updates for NFL Week 10

Fantasy owners are getting a break for the second week in a row, as only a couple of games (49ers-JaguarsBroncos-Bills) are expected to see even 15-mph winds or have a chance of rain (Commanders-Seahawks, 49ers-Jaguars). Unless forecasts get worse closer to kickoff, you shouldn't let weather affect your start 'em, sit 'em decisions.
