Fantasy Football FAAB Advice Week 11: How much should you bid on top waiver pickups, free agents? image

Last week was relatively tame on the injury front in fantasy football. Guys like Tyler Heinicke (hamstring), Derek Carr (concussion, shoulder), and Gerald Everett (back) were knocked out of games, but the two that mattered most were Michael Thomas (knee) and Alexander Mattison (concussion). The lack of injuries doesn't help produce new waiver wire targets, but there are still some good pickups worth spending your FAAB budget on in Week 11.

Streaming quarterbacks and tight ends stand out most with limited extra running back attrition. At wide receiver, more viable players are emerging in good offenses, too. Josh Dobbs and Jordan Love have increased value as NFC North passers, while rookies Demario Douglas, Jayden Reed, and Quentin Johnston kept "catching on" more. Even elite blasts from the recent past Brandin Cooks and Odell Beckham Jr. have more viability.

Whether you're thinking short- or long-term, how should you prioritize the pickups, either through the running of waivers or allocation of your free-agent acquisition budget (FAAB)? Here's your advice and buying guide for the latest week of the fantasy open market:

WEEK 11 FANTASY: Full waiver listTrade advice

Week 11 Fantasy FAAB Advice: Waiver wire QB pickups, streamers

1. Josh Dobbs, Vikings (Yahoo league availability: 47%). Dobbs is dealing and feeling it in a loaded offense with his natural running and sharp passing with Justin Jefferson (hamstring) about to return. He should be rostered in 10-team leagues with a nice spot vs. the Broncos in prime time next. Projected FAAB bid: 5-6% of total budget

2. Russell Wilson, Broncos (Yahoo league availability: 54%). Wilson has been productive in more weeks than not in Denver's new offense, and after the Bills matchup on Monday night, he'll be on the other side of Dobbs in what can be a sneaky shootout on Sunday night. Projected FAAB bid: 5-6% of total budget

3. Jordan Love, Packers (Yahoo league availability: 57%). Love went back to looking more comfortable with all of his young weapons playing off an improved running game in Week 10. He can be usable again at home with high volume opposite Justin Herbert and the Chargers in Week 11. Projected FAAB bid: 3-4% of total budget

4. Will Levis, Titans (Yahoo league availability: 47%). Levis has clunked against the Steelers and Buccaneers after he ripped the Falcons in his rookie debut. The upside is still there, though, and he should be throwing often opposite Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars, who just allowed a ton of big plays downfield to Brock Purdy. Projected FAAB bid: 3-4% of total budget

WEEK 11 PPR RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

Week 11 Fantasy FAAB Advice: Waiver wire RB pickups, streamers

1. Keaton Mitchell, Ravens (Yahoo league availability: 54%). Mitchell is kind of like Breece Hall or De'Von Achane in terms of being a very explosive back who needs limited high-leverage touches to be effective and productive. Gus Edwards is a good power back, but the rookie Mitchell has emerged as a better complement to him with speed and quickness over Justice Hill. Projected FAAB bid: 10-11% of total budget

2. Devin Singletary, Texans (Yahoo league availability: 50%). Singletary exploded with 30 rushing for 150 yards and a TD to revive a dormant running game out of nowhere in an even matchup against the Bengals. He is a better fit for the zone scheme than injured Dameon Pierce. The Cardinals are a nice home matchup back to keep it going. The Broncos and Jets also are ahead after the Jaguars in Week 12. Projected FAAB bid: 10-11% of total budget

3. Ty Chandler, Vikings (Yahoo league availability: 92%). Alexander Mattison (concussion) joined Cam Akers (Achilles) on the sidelines in Week 10, opening the door for Chandler, who scored on his 15 carries. Chandler gets a plus matchup right away should Mattison miss Week 11 in Denver. Projected FAAB bid: 8-9% of total budget

4. Antonio Gibson, Commanders (Yahoo league availability: 48%). Gibson caught five-of-six targets in Seattle for 42 yards and a TD, adding 13 rushing yards. It paled to Brian Robinson Jr., who turned 14 touches for 157 yards, including a 51-yard TD, but Gibson did look like a key part of a more remixed offense. The Giants are also next in another favorable matchup. Projected FAAB bid: 8-9% of total budget

5. Zach Charbonnet, Seahawks (Yahoo league availability: 55%). It was a 20-10 touch split between Kenneth Walker and Charbonnet vs. the Commanders. While Walker went for 108 and a touchdown, Charbonnet added 62 scrimmage yards and four catches. He might still be more of a plus handcuff, but he should be rostered for at least that role in most leagues. Projected FAAB bid: 6-7% of total budget

6. Rico Dowdle (Yahoo league availability: 96%). So much for a Tony Pollard week in a smash spot. Pollard could muster only 55 yards rushing on 15 carries, but Dowdle came in to clean up in a 49-10 rout of the Giants with 12 carries, 79 yards, and a TD. Dowdle woke up the running game big-time to support a pass-happy attack. We'll see what that means for Pollard's usage going forward, but Dowdle has a chance to be flex-y sexy with the Panthers up next. Projected FAAB bid: 6-7% of total budget

WEEK 11 STANDARD RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

Week 11 Fantasy FAAB Advice: Waiver wire WR pickups, streamers

1. Demario Douglas, Patriots (Yahoo league availability: 74%). This is the last call for Douglas, who many didn't think could actually "pop" in this passing offense. Sure, they are on a bye, but he had his best game yet with six catches for 84 yards on nine targets against the Colts. He should get more run down the stretch with either QB. Projected FAAB bid: 10-12% of total budget

2. Brandin Cooks, Cowboys (Yahoo league availability: 62%). Cooks has come alive in the pass-happy and red-hot attack. Dak Prescott's and CeeDee Lamb's heater has opened up the entire field for other receivers. The matchup stays juicy with the Panthers next. Projected FAAB bid: 8-9% of total budget

3. Jayden Reed, Packers (Yahoo league availability: 79%). Romeo Doubs keeps coming up aces as a scoring threat, but Christian Watson continues to bomb with shaky health. Reed's slot work is getting more work as a key target for Love, and he's doing a better job of using the middle of the field. Reed just took advantage of weak slot coverage in Pittsburgh (5-84-1), and he gets an even better spot vs. the Chargers. Projected FAAB bid: 8-9% of total budget

4. Noah Brown, Texans (Yahoo league availability: 76%). Brown was a good bet to fade in Week 10 at Cincinnati until it became clear that Nico Collins (calf) would need to miss the game. Brown, Tank Dell, and Dalton Schultz all delivered as the top-three targets for a sizzling C.J. Stroud, and that can keep up should Collins also miss the sweet spot vs. the Cardinals' overmatched secondary in Houston. Projected FAAB bid: 8-9% of total budget

5. Quentin Johnston, Chargers (Yahoo league availability: 71%). He missed on a big play with Justin Herbert, but he drew a key pass-interference penalty on the play. He also caught all four of his targets against the Lions for 34 yards and his first NFL TD. The rookie is needed more playing off Keenan Allen with no Josh Palmer (knee) and is looking more comfortable in Kellen Moore's offense with each week Projected FAAB bid: 6-7% of total budget

6. Jalen Guyton, Chargers (Yahoo league availability: 100%). Guyton is back in the mix, and Justin Herbert went back to trusting the once promising No. 3 wideout before injuries struck. Guyton looked good with his six targets immediately, turning them into 4-41-1. Projected FAAB bid: 6-7% of total budget

7. Odell Beckham Jr., Ravens (Yahoo league availability: 74%). Did OBJ score the past two weeks because a) he was a squeaky wheel on his birthday and b) then had a "revenge game" against the Browns? Possibly. He got only two targets vs. Cleveland, but he made them count with a 40-yard TD catch. The week before vs. Seattle, it was a solid seven targets, however, for five catches, 56 yards, and a TD. The Bengals aren't an easy matchup, but he might want to do some LSU flexing vs. Ja'Marr Chase. Projected FAAB bid: 4-5% of total budget

8. Trenton Irwin, Bengals (Yahoo league availability: 92%). Tee Higgins (hamstring) being out opened up the door for him and Tyler Boyd. Boyd didn't disappoint, as he had a big day, even with one massive TD drop. Irwin also scored on a long pass, filling in for Higgins on the perimeter. The Ravens aren't a desirable matchup, but should Higgins miss again, Irwin will see some high-leverage targets away from Chase. Projected FAAB bid: 4-5% of total budget

9. Rondale Moore, Cardinals (Yahoo league availability: 91%). Moore came back to life with Kyler Murray after not being on the fantasy radar at all in 2023, catching five-of-eight targets for 43 yards. That gives him some PPR juice, and he could turn out to be another Douglas. Projected FAAB bid: 2-3% of total budget

10. A.T. Perry, Saints (Yahoo league availability: 100%). Perry, a rookie sixth-rounder from Wake Forest, popped up on the scene as Michael Thomas (knee) was hurt against the Vikings. Let's see what happens with Thomas and Derek Carr during the bye, but Perry did connect well with Jameis Winston, catching two-of-four targets for 38 yards and a TD. Projected FAAB bid: 1-2% of total budget

Week 11 Fantasy FAAB Advice: Waiver wire TE pickups, streamers

1. Luke Musgrave, Packers (Yahoo league availability: 77%). Musgrave is a big-play tight end, and those plays are starting to come. He scored on a shot play from Jordan Love in Week 9 and turned his two catches into 64 yards against the Steelers. The Chargers are very giving to tight ends, and Musgrave should be schemed for more chances. Projected FAAB bid: 5-6% of total budget

2. Michael Mayer, Raiders (Yahoo league availability: 90%). Mayer had one big week against the Patriots and got into the end zone this week, but he's been more of an afterthought as a receiver in a run-heavy, Josh Jacobs-centric offense now. Fortunately, the Raiders should need to pass a lot more vs. the Dolphins at home. Projected FAAB bid: 0-1% of total budget

3. Chigoziem Okonkwo, Titans (Yahoo league availability: 74%). Okonkwo is a low-upside option during byes and injuries, but he's steadily involved, and Tennessee's offensive line woes call for more short passes in the middle. Projected FAAB bid: 0-1% of total budget

4. Noah Fant, Seahawks (Yahoo league availability: 99%). Fant is impossible to trust with usage in any week, but the Rams at home are a very favorable matchup for the position. Projected FAAB bid: 0-1% of total budget

5. Albert Okwuegbunam, Eagles Packers (Yahoo league availability: 77%). Albert O should get a spike in opportunities with Dallas Goedert (forearm) hurting for a while. The matchup is middle-of-the-road vs. the Chiefs, as the Mizzou product will get a chance to play near Columbia in Week 11. Don't be surprised if he's the guy over Jack Stoll and others. Projected FAAB bid: 0-1% of total budget

Week 11 Fantasy FAAB Advice: Waiver wire D/ST pickups, streamers

(Note: Do not spend any of FAAB budget on D/ST! Get them for $0 after waivers run!)

1. Detroit Lions (Yahoo league availability: 70%). The Lions gave up a ton of points to the Chargers in a back-and-forth shootout, but Justin Herbert and Keenan Allen on the road are much different than the Bears at home, whether it's Justin Fields (thumb) or Tyson Bagent under center. The Lions will rebound nicely as the Week 11 version of the Week 10 Buccaneers.

2. Washington Commanders (Yahoo league availability: 79%). The Commanders, even without Chase Young and Montez Sweat up front, have a chance to rack up sacks and a few takeaways against the Giants' shell of an offense led by Tommy DeVito.

3. Miami Dolphins (Yahoo league availability: 63%). The Dolphins will return from a bye to get Aidan O'Connell and the Raiders at home. They also can win well up front and get some plays from the back end.

4. Jacksonville Jaguars (Yahoo league availability: 80%). The Jags are also in for a nice rebound at home after getting rolled by the 49ers' balanced and explosive juggernaut in Week 10. They draw Will Levis and the Titans, which sets up well for sacks and interceptions.

5. Los Angeles Chargers (Yahoo league availability: 77%). They also didn't fare well in that Lions game, getting gashed in the passing and running games for big plays. They should fare better as playmakers in Green Bay, although an improving Jordan Love caps their ceiling.
