FanDuel Picks Week 7: Best NFL DFS lineup advice for daily fantasy football tournaments image

Week 7 features another solid 11-game NFL DFS main slate on Sunday afternoon. Our Week 7 FanDuel lineup has a couple of standout stars at RB and WR, along with a surging value defense that had an excellent performance last week at Green Bay. We also have Dak Prescott in our lineup, who is back on the field after missing the past five games with a thumb injury.

Before we break down our picks and strategy, here are the most notable scoring rules for FanDuel contests: four-point passing TDs and half-point PPR.

FanDuel Picks Week 7: NFL DFS lineup for GPP tournaments

Sunday main slate, $60,000 budget

QB Dak Prescott, Cowboys vs. Lions ($7,500). This is the perfect time to get Prescott in your lineup, especially with Josh Allen, Jalen Hurts, Matthew Stafford, and Kirk Cousins on a bye. Prescott has not played since Week 1 due to a thumb injury, but all signs point to him coming back against the Lions. Detroit has struggled against the pass this season, allowing the seventh-most passing yards per game (261) and the second-most FanDuel points per game to QBs (22.9). Prescott could easily outscore most of the QBs priced higher than him, including Derek Carr, Justin Herbert, and Patrick Mahomes.

WEEK 7 FANTASY PICKS: Sleepers | Busts | Start 'em, sit 'em

RB Josh Jacobs, Raiders vs. Texans ($8,600). Jacobs gets a juicy matchup against a Texans defense that's allowing the most fantasy points to opposing running backs on a weekly basis (27.6). He's been a volume monster so far this season, averaging over 20 carries per game over his last four games. Jacobs leads all RBs in juke rate (55.6 percent) and ranks second in evaded tackles (60) as his shiftiness can lead him to another 100-plus yard showing this week.

RB Kenneth Walker III, Seahawks @ Chargers ($7,300). Walker is one of my favorite picks across all DFS platforms this week. The rookie running back had a good outing last week against the Cardinals, racking up 97 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries. He has now scored 10 or more FanDuel points in back-to-back weeks. The Chargers' defense has struggled this season, allowing the second-most FanDuel points per game to RBs (25.7). At $7,300, Walker is a relative bargain.

WR WEEK 7 DFS LINEUPS: DraftKings

WR CeeDee Lamb, Cowboys vs. Lions  ($7,700). Lamb is yet to have a 100-yard receiving performance this season, but he's been consistently solid despite playing with a backup QB and being the focus of every defense he faces. Prescott should target him frequently against a lackluster Lions' secondary that's allowing the ninth-most FanDuel points per game to WRs this season (31.9). Do not hesitate to start Lamb, who's averaging 12.2 FanDuel points per game in his past three outings.

WR Tee Higgins, Bengals vs. Falcons ($7,100). Most DFS players will put Ja'Marr Chase in their DFS lineup after his two-touchdown performance against the Saints. However, do not forget about Higgins, who also has a favorable matchup against the Falcons. Atlanta's defense has allowed eight touchdowns and the sixth-most FanDuel points per game to WRs (33.7). Higgins had a quiet outing last week with six receptions (10 targets) for 47 yards and 7.7 FanDuel points. But the targets were still there, and in his previous two full games vs. the Dolphins and Jets, the young wide receiver scored 21.9 and 11.8 FanDuel points, respectively. We should expect him to be a playmaker and potentially the leading receiver, especially with the attention that Chase will command.

WEEK 7 PPR RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

WR Allen Lazard, Packers @ Commanders ($6,600). Lazard has been consistent over the past four games, averaging 13.5 FanDuel points. Last week against the Jets, Lazard had four receptions (nine targets) for 76 yards and a touchdown (15.6 FanDuel points), and he's now scored a touchdown in back-to-back weeks. The Commanders' defense has allowed eight touchdowns and the fourth-most FanDuel points per game to WRs (33.8) this season, so Lazard is in a prime spot to produce again.

TE Hayden Hurst, Bengals vs. Falcons ($4,900). Hurst is surprisingly affordable in a week where Dawson Knox, Tyler Higbee, and Dallas Goedert are all on bye. He had a quiet outing last week against the Saints (three receptions for 21 yards). However, we've seen the vet be a playmaker in Cincinnati's offense this season. He has a great matchup this week against the Falcons, who allow the fourth-most FanDuel points per game to TEs (13.7). Atlanta's defense has only given up one touchdown but the third-most yards to TEs. With the playmakers that Cincy boasts on the outside, Hurst should be a factor in the middle of the field.

WEEK 7 STANDARD RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

FLEX James Robinson, Jaguars vs. Giants ($5,800). Robinson was not a great play for us at the flex last week, only scoring six FanDuel points. However, the Giants' defense is getting crushed on the ground this season (144.8 yards per game allowed) and had Kenyan Drake go off for 100-plus rushing yards last week. After seeing that performance, Robinson, who played roughly half the snaps and still led the Jaguars in carries last week, should carve up New York on the ground and find the end zone, which he hasn't done since Week 3 against the Chargers.

DEF Jets @ Broncos ($4,300). Finally, we will ride the momentum of the Jets' defense, which was stellar last week against the Packers. New York scored a season-high 20 FanDuel points (four sacks, one takeaway, 10 points allowed, blocked punt, TD). The Jets now head to Denver to face the Broncos, who are averaging a mediocre 15.2 points per game on offense. Do not be surprised to see New York post another double-digit performance against this lackluster offense, especially if Brett Rypien starts for Russell Wilson (hamstring).
