NFL DFS picks Week 7: Best sleepers, value players for FanDuel, DraftKings, SuperDraft lineups image

The turbulent rollercoaster ride of the 2023 NFL season continues, with many fantasy football superstars on the shelf with injuries. Playing DFS has never been more appealing, simply because it allows you to start fresh each week and put the injuries from your season-long redraft teams out of sight and out of mind. We also have the secret to daily fantasy football success, which we'll share with you again in Week 7: Pinpoint the best sleepers and value plays in order to afford proven weekly studs on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Every Tuesday, we scour DraftKings, FanDuel, and SuperDraft to find the best investments — like my kids searching Target for a Frozen motorcycle (!?). We then write about our favorite plays for each position, explaining why each player or D/ST has a good chance of vastly outproducing their respective price point. We also review our hits from the previous week, kind of like a kid pinning an A+ quiz on the refrigerator.

By capitalizing on affordable sleepers in certain DFS roster spots, we leave ourselves the budget to greatly improve other roster spots with weekly studs. Let's face it, in order to afford an Austin Ekeler ($8,600 on DK), you must invest in the occasional Rondale Moore ($3,500).

WEEK 7 FANTASY ADVICE:
Sleepers | Busts | Projections | Start 'em, sit 'em

Like we do every year, we have enjoyed consistent success with our DFS sleepers and values all season. Each Tuesday, we share a double-digit list of hits from the previous week. — with each hit typically netting 18-22 fantasy points. We've been ahead of the game on breakouts like Puka Nacua, Kyren Williams, Zack Moss, and Nico Collins, among many others.

WEEK 7 DFS:
DK lineup | FD lineupBest stacks

Take a look at our collection of hits from last week:

Pos. Player Wk. 6 Game DK Price Pts
QB Sam Howell Commanders at Falcons $5,500 18.3
QB Derek Carr Saints at Texans $5,300 18.3
RB Raheem Mostert Dolphins vs. Panthers $6,400 34.2
RB D'Andre Swift Eagles at Jets $6,100 18.0
RB Rhamondre Stevenson Patriots at Raiders $5,400 18.0
WR Adam Thielen Panthers at Dolphins $5,900 28.5
WR Drake London  Falcons vs. Commanders $4,800 24.5
WR Amari Cooper Browns vs. 49ers $5,800 17.8
WR Jakobi Meyers Raiders vs. Patriots $5,800 17.1
WR Tyler Boyd Bengals vs. Seahawks $4,600 16.8
TE Dalton Schultz Texans vs. Saints $3,600 16.1
DST Washington Commanders at Falcons $3,100 15.0

Another strong week in the books. Our dozen hits averaged 20.2 DK points despite costing under $5,200 per player. With that kind of cheap production, you're almost assured a finish in the money in the milli-maker and other large DFS tournaments.

Let's run it back! This year, we're also incorporating SuperDraft into our weekly DFS column. For those unfamiliar, SuperDraft's DFS scoring involves point multipliers as opposed to traditional salary-capped or tiered contests. A winning lineup will likely feature a strong mix of stud fantasy contributors with 1x-1.6x boosts, as well as matchup-based sleepers with larger multipliers. Each player is assigned a scoring multiplier based on their value as determined by SuperDraft. So, the sleepers who carry lower salaries in DK/FD have higher boosts on SD. The best part: SuperDraft users can roster any player with no restrictions.

MORE SUPERDRAFT DFS: How to play SuperDraft

Let's get to our picks. Below we will reveal our Week 7 DFS sleepers and values at each position. Good luck, have fun, and enjoy what will undoubtedly be another wild week!

All player values are from DraftKings, FanDuel, and SuperDraft. All stats are from NFL.com and Pro Football Reference.

NFL DFS Picks Week 7: QB sleepers, values for DraftKings, FanDuel, SuperDraft

Geno Smith, Seahawks vs. Cardinals (DK: $6,000 | FD: $7,000 | SD: 1.3x)

The Seahawks fell to the Bengals 17-13 in Cincinnati last week, but it's worth noting that Smith completed 27 passes for 323 yards. If he connected on even one touchdown, he would have cleared at least 23 DK points. The Cardinals have allowed the fifth-most DK points per game to QBs this season, so we're firing Smith up in this week full of byes.

Jordan Love, Packers at Broncos (DK: $5,800 | FD: $7,800 | SD: 1.35x)

Love looked awful in Las Vegas last week, but he should bounce back in a major way against an inept Broncos defense that has surrendered the second-most QB fantasy points in all formats. Denver has allowed averages of 33.3 points per game and 2.3 passing TDs per game, both NFL-highs, and only the Chargers and Jaguars have given up more passing yards per game than the Broncos (268.3).

Other solid Week 7 values: Jared Goff, Lions at Ravens (DK: $6,400 | FD: $7,600 | SD: 1.25x); Sam Howell, Commanders at Giants (DK: $5,500 | FD: $7,400 | SD: 1.35x); Brian Hoyer, Raiders at Bears (DK: $4,900 | FD: $6,300 | SD: 1.45x);

WEEK 7 STANDARD RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

NFL DFS Picks Week 7: RB sleepers, values for DraftKings, FanDuel, SuperDraft

Brian Robinson Jr., Commanders at Giants (DK: $5,800 | FD: $7,300 | SD: 1.3x)

Robinson has been underwhelming over the past few weeks, but he's faced two tough defenses (@ ATL, @ PHI) and got game-scripted out of the Commanders' Thursday night loss to Chicago. This week should yield much better results considering the Giants have been among the seven worst run defenses in fantasy this season and just allowed James Cook and Latavius Murray to combine for 116 yards last week.

Rhamondre Stevenson, Patriots vs. Bills (DK: $5,600 | FD: $6,600 | SD: 1.35x)

We had Rhamondre on this list last week, and he delighted us with 18 DK points. He might not have much success on the ground against Buffalo this week, but he should do just fine in the passing game. Mac Jones has struggled to find time in the pocket, and 'Mondre is probably his best receiver. Keep plugging this guy in as long as he's under $6,000 each week.

More solid Week 7 RB values: Jerome Ford (DK: $5,100 | FD: $6,600 | SD: 1.4x) and Kareem Hunt (DK: $5,000 | FD: $6,200 | SD: 1.4x); Javonte Williams, Broncos vs. Packers (DK: $5,400 | FD: $6,000 | SD: 1.35x); Latavius Murray, Bills at Patriots (DK: $4,400 | FD: $5,600 | SD: 1.55x)

WEEK 7 PPR RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

NFL DFS Picks Week 7: WR sleepers, values for DraftKings, FanDuel, SuperDraft

Tyler Lockett, Seahawks vs. Cardinals (DK: $6,000 | FD: $6,800 | SD: 1.35x)

Lockett seems due for a mammoth fantasy performance. Over his past two games (@ NYG, @ CIN), he caught 10-of-14 targets for 148 yards, but he hasn't scored since he found the end zone twice against the Lions in Week 2. Lockett has thrived against Arizona throughout his career with eight career TDs and a pristine 75-percent catch rate. Dad joke incoming: Lockett in!

Zay Flowers, Ravens vs. Lions (DK: $5,700 | FD: $6,300 | SD: 1.4x)

Flowers might have replaced Mark Andrews as Lamar Jackson's favorite target in Baltimore. The rookie wideout has now seen double-digit targets three times this season, and he has racked up 11 catches for 123 yards and a score over the past two weeks. This game should be a shootout, so expect the below-average Lions secondary to give up some chunk-yard plays to the speedy youngster out of Boston College.

Marquise Brown, Cardinals at Seahawks (DK: $5,300 | FD: $6,700 | SD: 1.45x)

Hollywood got held in check in Los Angeles last week, breaking a four-game fantasy scoring streak in the 16-17 range. Look for Brown to get back into the swing of things in Seattle against a Seahawks' defense that has allowed the most fantasy points in the NFL to WRs.

More solid Week 7 WR values: Amari Cooper, Browns at Colts (DK: $6,100 | FD: $6,800 | SD: 1.35x); Terry McLaurin, Commanders at Giants (DK: $5,400 | FD: $7,200 | SD: 1.45x); Drake London, Falcons at Buccaneers (DK: $5,100 | FD: $6,900 | SD: 1.5x); Josh Palmer, Chargers at Chiefs (DK: 4,800 | FD: $6,500 | SD: 1.5x); Rashee Rice, Chiefs vs. Chargers (DK: $4,700 | FD: $5,600 | SD: 1.5x)

NFL DFS Picks Week 7: TE sleepers, values for DraftKings, FanDuel, SuperDraft

Luke Musgrave, Packers at Broncos (DK: $3,800 | FD: $5,000 | SD: 1.65X)

Musgrave has caught 12-of-15 targets in his past two games, and this week he gets a matchup against a Broncos' defense allowing the most fantasy points per game to TEs. You're not going to find a better value, especially in DK's full-point PPR format.

More solid Week 7 TE values: Gerald Everett, Chargers at Chiefs (DK: $3,800 | FD: $5,100 | SD: 1.55x); Jonnu Smith, Falcons at Buccaneers (DK: $3,600 | FD: $5,400 | SD: 1.6x)

NFL DFS Picks Week 7: D/ST sleepers, values for DraftKings, FanDuel

Cleveland Browns at Colts (DK: $3,300 | FD: $4,500)

This is a major discount on DK, as the Browns made MVP candidate Brock Purdy and the high-flying 49ers look bad last week and now travel to Lucas Oil Stadium to track down Gardner Minshew. Myles Garrett and this Cleveland front-seven will be all over the Indy pocket this weekend. The Browns maintain the league's second-best sack percentage (10.1) and an NFL-best opponent completion percentage (51.9).

Other solid Week 7 D/ST values: Indianapolis Colts vs. Browns (DK: $3,400 | FD: $3,800); Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Falcons (DK: $3,600 | FD: $4,000)
