Week 9 is the last of the major bye weeks in college football, and there are plenty big names idle this week, including Dwayne Haskins and J.K. Dobbins from Ohio State, Tua Tagovailoa andn Jerry Jeudy from Alabama, McKenzie Milton from UCF, and Darrell Henderson from Memphis. But college fantasy football stops for no one, so we have to find alternative DFS sleepers and values for our DraftKings lineups.
Even with all the byes there are several storylines to watch this weekend. Can Will Grier and West Virginia rebound from a surprising Week 8 loss as they host Baylor? Will Houston or South Florida's defenses show up enough to keep the total score under 100? And can Iowa State slow down the Texas Tech offense the same way they did West Virginia?
WEEK 9 NFL DFS: Values | Stacks | Lineup Builder
Vegas over/under lines are the first thing CFBDynasty writers look at when they start putting together their weekly college fantasy player rankings and college DFS rankings. High scores equal big fantasy performances, so it's a good way of spotting players with the potential to rack up yards and TDs.

Let's get into the top starts, values, and sleeper for Week 9 DraftKings contests.
Week 9 College Fantasy Football DFS Picks: QBs
Best Start: D'Eriq King, Houston vs. South Florida ($10,200). Through seven games, Houston has yet to score fewer than 41 points, and King is a primary reason. He is averaging 283 yards per game with 32 total TDs, and this week against South Florida should be a shootout.
Best Value: Nathan Rourke, Ohio vs. Ball State ($8,900). Rourke started the season very slowly -- so slowly that he was benched Week 1. Since returning to the starting lineup in Week 3, he is averaging 320 total yards and has scored 17 TDs. Look for a big game this week as Rourke and the Bobcats host a Ball State team giving up over 400 yards per contest..
Sleeper: Brock Purdy, Iowa State vs. Texas Tech ($7,000). Freshman Brock Purdy has been exceptional for the Cyclones since taking over on the second series two weeks ago, leading Iowa State to victories over Oklahoma State and West Virginia while averaging 347 total yards and scoring eight TDs. He will need another big performance this week against Texas Tech for Iowa State to extend their win streak
Week 9 College Fantasy Football DraftKings Picks: RBs
Best start: Jonathan Taylor, Wisconsin at Northwestern ($9,900). Taylor has had at least 100 yards in every games this season. Hopefully, he can add a couple TDs to those yards this week as the Badgers travel to Northwestern.
Best Value: Jordan Cronkrite, South Florida at Houston ($8,800). Cronkite took over the Bulls starting RB job in Week 3 and has averaged 164 yards with six total TDs over the last five games. He should see plenty of work against Houston in a game Vegas has projected as the highest scoring of the weekend with a 75-point o/u.
Sleeper: Kennedy Brooks, Oklahoma vs. Kansas State ($5,000). Brooks, as the backup RB, has had 100 yards rushing in two of the past three games, including 168 yards a TD last week. If starter Trey Sermon's leg injury turns out to be serious, Brooks could be in for a huge game.
Week 9 College Daily Fantasy Football Picks: WRs
Best start: Marquez Stevenson, Houston vs. South Florida ($7,600). Per Vegas this should be the highest scoring game of the week, with a 75-point o/u. Stevenson will have every opportunity to put up big numbers.
Best Value: Jalen Hurd, Baylor at West Virginia ($7,600). Hurd has gotten better as the season progresses, with 734 total yards and six TDs. The Bears will continue to use him all over the field as they travel to West Virginia to take on the Mountaineers.
Sleeper: Riley Miller, Ball State at Ohio ($5,100). Miller has been consistent this year, scoring at least 10 fantasy points in all but one game. He should be able to have another good week in this matchup with a poor Ohio defense.
