College Fantasy Football: Expert DFS picks, sleepers for Week 7 DraftKings contests image

Week 7 should be a big one for college fantasy football, as 13 games have a projected over/under of at least 60 points. The Red River Rivalry between Oklahoma and Texas boasts the highest projection of the week at 76 points. This game will provide lots of startable players to anchor or just fill out your DraftKings lineups. Colorado State at New Mexico, Arizona State vs Washington State and Louisville at Wake Forest also have high projections and mediocre to bad defenses, always a combo to look for in DFS.

Week 7 College Fantasy Football DFS Picks: QBs

Best Start: Sam Ehlinger, Texas vs Oklahoma ($8,400). Ehlinger has been beast this entire season, rolling up 1,684 total yards and 20 TDs over five games. This week Texas is hosting Oklahoma, and Vegas expects that game to put up the most points of the weekend (76 point over/under). Ehlinger should have a huge game and is definitely worth the price tag.

Best Value: Trevor Lawrence, Clemson vs. Florida State ($7,200). Lawrence has been a bit inconsistent for fantasy football purposes this season. Averaging just 226 yards with an 8:5 TD-to-INT ratio over his first five games. However, this week the Tigers should be playing angry after almost losing to North Carolina in Week 5, and Florida State’s 109th-ranked defense has not been able to stop anyone this season. Lawrence could easily roll up his best game of the season so far.

Best Sleeper: Justice McCoy, Colorado State at New Mexico ($4,900). Colorado State has one of the better receiving corps in the country, rolling out Warren Jackson, Dante Wright and Nate Craig-Myers. But since starting QB Collin Hill was knocked out for the season, the passing game has struggled. Backup Patrick O’Brien has only managed two TDs in his three starts, and the Rams are considering another change at QB. If McCoy does get the start, he will be going up against a New Mexico team with the worst pass defense in the country and that definitely give him the potential for a big game.

Week 7 College Fantasy Football DFS Picks: RBs

Best Start: Eno Benjamin, Arizona St vs. Washington State ($7,500). In week 5 Eno showed why he is one of the best RBs in the country, grinding out 100 yards and three TDs against a very tough California defense. This week’s matchup against Washington State gives him an opportunity for another big game, especially since the Cougars’ defense comes in ranked 105th overall.

Best Value: Salvon Ahmed, Washington at Arizona ($6,600). Ahmed has been solid this season, scoring at least 11 fantasy points in four out of five games. This week’s opponent, Arizona, has one of the worst defenses in the country, currently ranked 119th overall. That, coupled with the injury to fellow RB Richard Newton, should mean plenty of work for Ahmed this weekend.

Best Sleeper: Deon Jackson, Duke vs. Georgia Tech ($5,400). After a few quiet games to open the season, Jackson seems to have found his groove, scoring 27 and 24 fantasy points, respectively, over the Blue Devils’ past two matchups. This week Jackson gets to go up against a 127th-ranked Georgia Tech run defense that's giving up over 245 yards per game. Duke should be getting the ball to Jackson early and often this week.

Week 7 College Fantasy Football DFS Picks: WRs

Best Start: CeeDee Lamb, Oklahoma at Texas ($7,200). Despite not having a ton of volume, recording just 18 receptions over five games, Lamb has still managed to be very productive. Turning those touches into 439 yards and eight TDs, he is proving to be one of the most dangerous WRs in the country. This week's matchup with rival Texas has the highest projected over/under of the week at 76 points, making Lamb a must-start in this potential shootout.

Best Value: Dante Wright, Colorado St at New Mexico ($6,400). Colorado State has been using their sensational freshman all over the field. Wright has over 600 yards and five TDs on offense and has returned 11 punts. This week the Rams are playing New Mexico, who boast a defense ranked 127th in the country, giving Wright a shot at another big statistical day.

Best Sleeper: Colin Johnson, Texas vs. Oklahoma ($5,200). Johnson was projected to be the Longhorns’ top WR coming into the season, but a hamstring injury has kept him out since Week 2. Finally healthy, Johnson returns to one of the biggest games of the year as Texas hosts Oklahoma in the Red River Rivalry. This matchup will produce a ton of points, and Johnson is a sneaky play at his current price.
