Best NFL DFS Stacks Week 9: Lineup picks for DraftKings, FanDuel daily fantasy football contests image

What's better than getting big passing, rushing, or receiving performances in your Week 9 daily fantasy football lineups on DraftKings or FanDuel? Trying to double or triple up your scoring potential with smart DFS stacks of multiple players or entities from the same team.

Week 9's main DFS slate is back down to being sparse with 10 games and 20 teams, so it's important to focus on the top values. The best stacks don't always include the biggest stars, as you'll see below, but finding lower-owned, productive gems is another key to winning in DFS, especially now that the bye weeks are here, injuries are mounting, and there are fewer options in the player pool.

Week 9 presents another great opportunity to attack the stacks, as the prices on DK and FD are manageable for many potential breakout players. Here's looking at the best correlated DFS combinations to consider when trying to maximize points and take down some big tournaments during Sunday's 1 p.m. ET main slate:

WEEK 9 DFS: DK lineup | FD lineup | Best values

Week 9 DraftKings, FanDuel Picks: Best stacks for daily fantasy football tournaments

Best QB-WR stack

Cowboys: Dak Prescott ($6,500 DK, $8,200 FD) and CeeDee Lamb ($8,200 DK, $8,800 FD)

Prescott and Lamb are feeling it together again in the downfield passing game. This lines up well with them going off vs. the Rams and the Eagles' pass defense further falling apart against the Commanders. There should be massive volume here in a thrilling shootout with Jalen Hurts and A.J. Brown.

WEEK 9 PPR RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

Best QB-TE stack

Vikings: Jaren Hall ($4,800 DK, $6,300 FD) and T.J. Hockenson ($5,200 DK, $6,700 FD)

Hall should get one start before Josh Dobbs is ready (that's where you should pivot at QB here if he plays). The rookie from BYU showed initial comfort filling in for Kirk Cousins (Achilles'), and he should lean a lot on his tight end in Atlanta. The Falcons have a great corner in A.J. Terrell, and Minnesota should focus on throwing more short-to-underneath vs. forcing it downfield too much with Hall.

WEEK 9 STANDARD RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

Best RB-Defense Stack

Raiders: Josh Jacobs ($6,900 DK, $67,500 FD) and D/ST ($3,600 DK, $4,800 FD)

Jacobs had some angry, productive runs in a tough matchup after being inspired by Barry Sanders in Detroit. He'll be ready to show he's the better back looking to get paid with Saquon Barkley on the other side against a much more giving Giants run defense. Maxx Crosby and the Raiders' defense also will be flying around inspired at home under interim coach Antonio Pierce, a former Giants linebacker.

WEEK 9 FANTASY ADVICE:
Sleepers | Busts | Projections | Start 'em, sit 'em

Best "Onslaught" Stack

Saints: Derek Carr ($5,700 DK, $7,100 FD), Taysom Hill ($4,700 DK, $6,500 FD), and Chris Olave ($6,300 DK, $6,900 FD)

Is this the week against an awful Bears pass defense that Olave finally goes off downfield with Carr instead of Rashid Shaheed getting all the deep-shot love? Yes. There's Jaylon Johnson at corner still for Chicago, but Olave will get his chances against rookie Tyrique Stevenson outside at times. Carr will make it work with his weapons again in a plus matchup at home, and Hill will keep doing his running, passing, and receiving thing to finish a drive or two, too.

Week 9 NFL DFS Picks: Top cash game stacks for DraftKings, FanDuel

Best QB-WR stack

Eagles: Jalen Hurts ($8,000 DK, $9,000 FD) and A.J. Brown ($8,600 DK, $9,000 FD)

That's a lot of investment in two players, but it's the more chalky look here vs. Prescott and Lamb in the same game. Brown shows no signs of cooling down, and it won't happen in this shootout. Plus, Hurts is, you know, Hurts, with his passing and running.

Best RB-Defense stack

Browns: Kareem Hunt ($5,500 DK, $7,000 FD) and D/ST ($4,200 DK, $4,700 FD)

Hunt should destroy the Cardinals, getting the key touches over Pierre Strong and Jerome Ford (see Gus Edwards last week). Myles Garrett and the defense also will have fun teeing off on either a rusty Kyler Murray or rookie Clayton Tune all game long.
