Best NFL DFS Stacks Week 3: Lineup picks for DraftKings, FanDuel daily fantasy football contests image

What's better than getting big passing or rushing performances in your Week 3 daily fantasy football lineups on DraftKings on FanDuel? Trying to double or triple up your scoring potential with smart DFS stacks of multiple players or entities from the same team.

Week 3 presents another great opportunity to attack the stacks, as the prices on DK and FD are still getting sorted out for many players across all positions. With that in mind, here's looking at the best correlated DFS combinations to consider when trying to maximize points and take down some big tournaments during Sunday's main slate:

WEEK 3 DFS:
DK lineup | FD lineup | Best values

Week 3 DraftKings, FanDuel Picks: Best stacks for daily fantasy football tournaments

Best QB-WR stack

Vikings: Kirk Cousins ($6,900 DK, $7,800 FD) and Jordan Addison ($5,500 DK, $6,800 FD)

You like that? Cousins is fantasy's top-scoring QB after two weeks, and he won't cool down in a pass-happy attack dueling Justin Herbert at home. Addison has scored on big plays in consecutive weeks to begin his career as a rookie first-rounder. The Chargers have been roasted early by the loaded Dolphins and limited Titans. Cousins and Addison will come through again as a big-play combo on the fast track at home.

WEEK 3 STANDARD RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

Best QB-TE stack

Falcons: Desmond Ridder ($5,000 DK, $7,000 FD) and Kyle Pitts ($3,900 DK, $5,400 FD)

This stack doesn't seem inspiring, but it's a good sneaky contrarian play because Ridder's passing and running against the Lions can add up to results that will push for 3X-4X return, especially if he gets two TDs. Pitts can help out by scoring one of those. It's a good matchup, and Pitts can cash in on a red zone target.

WEEK 3 PPR RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

Best RB-Defense Stack

Seahawks: Kenneth Walker ($6,200 DK, $7,600 FD) and D/ST ($3,200 DK, $4,200 FD)

Walker is seeing some relief behind him from rookie Zach Charbonnet, but so far the Panthers have wilted against the Falcons and Saints in the running game. Pete Carroll will be focused on getting his defense right while pressuring Andy Dalton, and this should be a game Seattle controls from the get-go. Walker is always a guy to target for multiple rushing scores.

WEEK 3 FANTASY: Sleepers | Busts | Start 'em, sit 'em

Best "Onslaught" Stack

Chiefs: Patrick Mahomes ($9,200 DK, $10,100 FD), Travis Kelce ($7,200 DK, $8,000 FD) and Skyy Moore ($4,400 DK, $5,600 FD)

When you pay up for Mathomes with Kelce, you are headed toward a "stars-and-scrubs" approach The Chiefs will destroy the Bears with Matt Nagy at the controls, attacking his former team and passing it into submission. Moore is cheap enough to play with them and steps into another fine matchup. Don't be surprised if this group gives you three combined TDs with Mahomes.

Week 3 NFL DFS Picks: Top cash game stacks for DraftKings, FanDuel

Best QB-WR stack

Bills: Josh Allen ($8,100 DK, $8,800 FD) and Stefon Diggs ($8,100 DK, $8,000 FD)

Diggs is a DC-area native who played at Maryland. He should be busy in this tough homecoming matchup for Gabe Davis and can reestablish himself as a high-volume downfield alpha. Allen and the Bills won't run all that well on Washington, either, so look for him feeding his go-to guy often for his biggest game yet of the season.

Best RB-Defense stack

Jaguars: Travis Etienne Jr. ($6,900 DK, $8,000 FD) and D/ST ($3,800 DK, $4,700 FD)

You could interchange the Seahawks and Jaguars as plays, but this is a little safer given Etienne will get some overcorrection with usage for much better production in the best possible RB matchup. The Jaguars' D has been pretty solid in the first two games and should get some fair opportunities for sacks and turnovers from C.J. Stroud on the road.
