2019 Fantasy Football Rankings: Kicker image

We’ve taken pity on you in our 2019 fantasy football kicker rankings. No extraneous words (besides these) to weave your mind into confusion. No bold claims about sleepers or busts. Oh, and since it’s not worthy of its own article, here's one sentence of draft strategy: Don’t you dare take a kicker until the final round. Cheat sheet completed.

You will not win your league by taking Justin Tucker with five rounds still to go. You just won’t; that's a promise. It’s not even a surefire strategy if you play in a kickers-only league, which surely someone has invented. So, don’t do it in a standard league, a PPR league, a keeper league, dynasty league, or anything in between. Let your leaguemates be bad at fantasy, not you.

2019 STANDARD RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running Back | Wide Receiver | Tight End | D/ST | Top 200 (coming soon)

Here’s the other piece of kicker advice you need: Kicker performances are relatively random. A lot of non-kicker stuff goes into whether a kicker has a good game in a given week. So, if you choose to play the wire all year, it might work. Aldrick Rosas was ranked 31st on this list a year ago. He only missed one kick all season.

If you go beyond this list for kicker advice (but why would you?), just look for the best literal kickers of the football. It’s too easy to play into offenses, which are especially random on touchdown efficiency week-to-week. Just take the guy who has a big and accurate leg, and the rest should take care of itself over time.

That’s already too many words about kickers, so, please, just go read the rankings. Because we care, we'll be updating this list throughout the preseason, so check back for updates if that's your thing.
