The trade deadline for the 2020-21 NBA season falls at 3 p.m. on Thursday, March 25.
The start to what's expected to be an interesting trade deadline day came late Wednesday night as Canadian Cory Joseph will reunite with his former Toronto Raptors coach Dwane Casey.
The Sacramento Kings have dealt Joseph and two second-round picks to the Detroit Pistons in exchange for another former in Raptor Delon Wright.

The picks headed to Detroit will be a 2021 second-rounder that was originally the Lakers pick and the Kings' own 2024 second-round pick. The Pistons will now have three second-round picks in the upcoming 2021 draft (Charlotte Hornets, Toronto Raptors and Kings).
Joseph, 29, signed a three-year $37.2 million deal with the Kings in the 2019 offseason. His $12.6 million salary for 2021-22 is partially guaranteed.
Joseph had been primarily in a reserve role with the Kings this season appearing in 44 games and posting averages of 6.6 points, 2.5 assists while shooting 44.4 percent from the field.
Wright is owed $8.5 million next year. He'll likely fill the role that Joseph leaves behind in Sacramento backing up star guard De'Aaron Fox, rookie Tyrese Haliburton and Buddy Hield.
Wright is averaging 10.4 points, 4.6 boards and 5.0 assists in 36 games this season.
