It's been a week since Jamal Murray exploded for a career-high 48 points against Boston Celtics, but the praise continues to roll in.

Ahead of the Rockets game against the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday, future Hall-of-Fame guard Chris Paul told Harrison Wind of BSNDenver that he texted Murray after the game. When asked what Murray's ceiling could be, Paul said he doesn't see one in sight.

“Ceiling?!" Paul questioned. "I don’t think he has one. I think he’s in a great situation getting to play for a great coach who gives him the freedom…I think (his ceiling) that’s completely up to him."

In 13 games this season, Murray is averaging 18.0 points, 3.7 assists, 4.3 rebounds in 33.7 minutes played — all career-highs.

However, Murray has struggled in five career games against Paul, averaging just 10.2 points and 3.0 assists in those contests. Murray's Nuggets have also gone just 1-4 over that stretch.

The young Nuggets have been off to a hot start this season after starting the year 9-1 including a big win over the Celtics. They've hit a skid, losing their last three to the Grizzlies, Nets and Bucks. Tuesday night is once again a test for the upstart Nuggets, as they continue to try and earn respect in the deep Western Conference. A win over last season's Conference finalist would continue to send a message to the rest of the league — Denver has arrived and they're here to stay.

You can catch the game across the TSN Network at 9:00 p.m ET.
