The best curling teams from around the globe are gathered in South Korea this week for the 2023 World Mixed Doubles Championship.
Scotland enters this year's tournament as the two-time defending mixed doubles champions. In 2022, it was the duo of Eve Muirhead and Bobby Lammie that went home with gold medals from the event.
Canada has yet to win gold at the World Mixed Doubles Championship. The closest a Canadian team has come was in 2017 and 2019 when the country finished as silver medalists.
Canada did not reach the podium last year, losing to Norway in the qualification games.
