The 2022 Tim Hortons Brier is set to start on Friday night with the best curling teams in Canada gathering for the 10-day tournament.
The competition heads back to Alberta for the second-straight year, this time in Lethbridge. It is the first time ever the city has hosted the tournament.
In 2021, Brendan Bottcher and Team Alberta defeated Kevin Koe and Team Wild Card 2 in the finals to win the tournament. It was the fourth consecutive finals that Bottcher's team appeared in, falling in the previous three to Brad Gushue twice and once to Koe.
